speccy v1.32.774? @moderators -> was there an update? the last known version for me and the download-history was v1.32.740... isnt it? @sunergy mmmh, if i remember me darkly... i mean here in the forum was write some similar stuff with "cpu-z" and i think to remember me that "cpu-z" was build in in speccy. but i dont know for sure cpu-detection: i think if your bios cant identify your cpu correctly because no specifications in the latest bios-update are intended for this -> perhaps than can no app find out the right cpu-id

i think the 64 bit systems are a problem for. an emulator can help but the original-os with the hardware from the time is the best.

@restore im 100% convincet ot that ccleaner have not made the problem. especially of restore your system with dell recovery. if your hardware is in good condition the restore works very good. my w8.1 works fine for years, since w8 came out with my pc. (2013) perhaps this can help? -also this works only if your hardware is without problems...

i was a MS-Dos-Fan :-) and dont like w95 at the beginning i played games like dune, dune 2, lands of lore, command & conquer, star trek - sttng etc. and all games works better in dos-environment. also as andavari i have installed w98se x-times - nice practise :-) xp too
