LOL friend+kellyscorner=trouble! he made his start button disappear...where does that happen to be in the registry?he cant get it back. as for me, i got a program from that site to change the name on the start button. i dont get how to make it change when it logs on... heres what the help file says: HOW TO USE Simply run the standalone program "StartBtn.exe" and then type your desirable label in the "New Label" field. By pressing the <Enter> key, or clicking on the "Rename It" button, the [start] button will rename with the new Label. You can also rename the [start] button by running the file "StartBtn.exe" from the MS-DOS command prompt. To do this, you must go the directory which you have been installed the application, use this sysnax to run the program. Usage: StartBtn.exe NewLabel which NewLabel parameter is the new label for the [start] button. Example: StartBtn Begin Changes label of the [start] to "Begin". This can be most useful when you want to rename the [start] button at the Windows startup.

true, i didnt know it screwed it up till i restarted a few hours later.

i trust mine, its freeware for the most part. you can pay to see the passwords it logs. i trust mine but its not like im using my computer to make plans for atomic weapons then send them to my email. you cant get in trouble if you dont do anything and if this one could log stuff, whose to say theres not one on your computer right now?

HAHAHA, PROBLEM! it is truely locked up using one of those programs.cant find which one tho. its not in the start menu and you cant use any shortcuts to get to it. i typed in gpedit.msc and got this just as when i try to do numerous other things...

Using any files from Kellys Korner could cause alot of problems if its not meant for youe system or sets any restrictions so It would help to know exactly which files or fixes you have uses so we can reverse the damge cause. my friend was downloading some stuff from http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm and all the taskbar icons went SUPER small on him. is there a fix other than searching that whole site?

sorry about that, im not sure if its that program. its on a keylogger and thats the part where you can set it up so when you put it on a puter, it automatically sends out the details ever so often...

ya, my laptop sucks but its how i MAKE MY MONEY. LMAO

its windows itself. i reinstalled windows and the next day i turned on the computer and there were two drives. couldnt make a restore point either.

the problems on my laptop. it shows up as theres 2 drives which theres only one that reads/ writes cd's and reads dvd's. theres a E and a G drive. the E, which is the one that reads everything, says DVD on it. the other one doesnt. G doesnt read anything i put in it. i reinstalled windows and it fixed it for a day, then it came back. i dont get it...

reserve means dont write on this amount of the folder im pretty sure...
