It's not the cost of the ink cartridge that you need to consider as it is the price per page! For example, HP's 74XL/75XL ink cartridges are very efficient, as are their 88 series! However the initial ink purchase is a bit hefty, 30-35$ per cartridge for the 74XL/75XL, and somewhere around 10-40$ for the 88s (there are four / six cartridges). Buh .

I wasn't aware that WYSIWYG PHP editors existed - because it'd be a collection of code snippets that would have to be restructured every time you change anything. PHP really isn't something that can be molded like HTML can. And as far as editors are concerned, I use ConTEXT.

The first thing I would do if it isn't fixed to the side of your computer is get your CD-key. Belarc adviser will reveal it for you, and I'm sure there are other programs as well. You can use a program like Norton Ghost to make an image of your hard drive, and burn that to a disc, and if you run into errors, restore the hard drive to that image.

I can tell you why you don't notice a difference. You have an amazingly powerful laptop and a rather humble desktop. If your laptop was running XP, you'd be amazed by how fast it is. Vista is -slow-. No ifs ands or buts about it. Every day I work with Vista, and every day, I feel like stabbing Ballmer in the neck with a screwdriver.

Or its brother, Mac OS.

I don't see how people need huge hard drives. I am using currently about 30 gigabytes, and I have more than enough stuff on my computer. I guess the big thing is that I don't download music (or when I do, it gets deleted or the album comes home one day, hehe).

I do believe that emulators are fully legal if you own the game, however I would double check before doing any downloading!

No no you misunderstand. I really think her art is great. I couldn't do it in a million years - she's gifted. But the first thing that I saw is that they declared her as a child prodigy. I'm trying it out, I'll let you all know how it goes! Okie dokie: First impressions. The GUI. Wow, they've kicked it up a few notches. It looks *brilliant* compared to the previous version of NOD32. Here's a screen: To get to most of the goodies I had to toggle advanced mode, which wasn't an issue at all. Scanning speed: I have a hefty bit of stuff installed. Counterstrike, Half Life2, Guild Wars, Photoshop, and too many other things to name. It was past my Program Files folder in under two minutes. The scan was complete in just under six minutes. System resources: Well this isn't really too good. The big thing I knew NOD32 for was how unintensive it was. The kernel was taking 30MB of RAM, and the GUI was taking another 7MB. Compared to Norton? Light as a feather. But then again, who wants to be compared to Norton?

I think most of us here will go "Ewwww!" when we see Norton. If I were you, I'd go give BitDefender 10 Free Version a whirl. It's *really* nice.

I'm not a Vista fan, really. That being said, I love XP. I probably won't upgrade from XP until I have to. And will I get Vista? I doubt it. I'll probably get a Mac or go with some Linux distribution .
