  1. Someone told me that despite the fact that I use Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, SUPERAntiSpyware and Lavasoft Ad-Aware 2008 and run a scan with these 3 once a week - and the fact that I also have SpywareBlaster installed, that I still should be using Spybot Search and Destroy as well.

Naturally I have heard of SS&D, but is it really that great that I would need it in addition to the others I have?

I really value the opinion of all of you, so I thought I would ask for your thoughts on this.

    Thanks for your time.

    Hi razz,

I use the same security set-up as you.

Avast with 3 shields active. Auto update of course.

Malwarebytes I update each day(10-15 secs.) and run a Quick Scan . Mainly because it is so fast (6-8 mins) even with Avast running(no conflicts) and I have other users on this PC who sometimes have "unsafe surfing habits". This way I can quickly show them the results. I run a Full Scan once a week.

I use IE7 with IE7Pro add-on and Ad Blocker enabled. This cuts down on other users "unsafe habits" tremendously.

SUPERAntiSpyware I update each day. Keep it ready for use and scan 1 a week maybe.

SpywareBlaster I update everyday. I would not run without it .

Every now and then I will use an Online Scanner such as ESET. Infrequently but I do it.

Anything else is just extra work as far as I am concerned.

    Keep it simple!

  2. Hi i'm new to CCleaner and I just downloaded it and saved to my desktop,I have had many tell me this is great and also they all told me different on how to install and I want to do it right so thought i'd come here and get the best answer LOL........they say turn all of my anti-virus,spyware,windows defender and firewall,I can understand all of my anti-virus and sprware/defender but wasn't sure about my Firewall,Just want to make sure before I do install it.Thanks so much fpr your input,Blessings,Cricket

    Hi Kicket,

    Welcome to the forums !!!

You have some good friends !!!

    Some are slightly misinformed.

Good for you to have the sense to admit that you are new and need to check things out.

Unfortunately some members are told to get CCleaner and run it. And that is all that they are told.

    NEW USERS ADVICE

Cleaning your computer of old junk and built-up temporary files and data is important.

It can be very easy and sensible by using a safe, fast and reliable program like CCleaner.

However, initial things should be done before you do this cleaning.

I have a few links for you to check out and follow before you do your first "CCleaning".

CCleaner is a "maintenance " type program. These programs MUST always be taken very seriously.

Since they can be easy to use (if they are a well designed program), many users forget how serious these functions are.

Hey, we are talking about ALL your files and data here !!! Likewise other "maintenance" programs do things to maintain your "OS system Hard Drive". You must always remember how serious running these programs is. These programs include other "cleaning" or "wiping" programs, "defragmenters", "backup" programs and file "recovery" programs. It just so happens that Piriform has 3 programs that fall into this category. CCleaner, Defraggler,

and Recuva. All three are serious programs to perform maintenance on your Hard Drives. They should not be used while running other programs or major conflicts and possible loss of data can occur. New users and old timers are advised to follow this advice.

CCleaner should only be run when all other programs are not running. This does not include security programs and firewalls. CCleaner CAN NOT do it's job properly and effectively any other way. You will have some users tell you otherwise but they are misinformed.

CCleaner has some Advanced cleaning options and also some Advanced functions that should not be used by MOST users who don't understand what they are doing. Once users have learned a lot they still may not need these features. These features were incorporated for "advanced users". They do "advanced functions" and do not do things that MOST users need to do.

MOST users can have PCs that perform very well and will not be improved by applying these "advanced features".

MOST users are well advised to use the "Cleaning" feature of CCleaner only.

    BEST WISHES,

    CCleaner Beginners advice

Start here with this link and follow its advice.

    http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?s=&amp...st&p=105208

Also see this link about the Registry and newbies.

    http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?s=&amp...ost&p=96510

Come back and let us know how you did and what else we can help you with.

There are lots of easy things to learn. One step at time.

  3. Ok, I am able to connect to my home network if the password is OFF. If I enter in the passcode, it will say " Acquiring network address" forever. I don't understand why it won't connect. There is a wifi indicator on the front of the laptop, a little blue antenna thing that glows when it's connected. It doesn't like up at all. As far as I know, I have the drivers installed, or else I wouldn't have been able to connect to the unprotected network. Any ideas?

First make sure your Network Connection is set properly.

Did you Run the Wizards(Network Wizard and also Wireless Wizard) and on all the PCs "after everything" is hooked up and turned on.

Then reboot all PCs involved. These steps are important and related.

Not just the wireless wizard but the Network Wizard as well ? Look at my earlier post again.

You may have to do the Wireless network first and then the Network Wizard second. Then reboot.

I know you can do it. You have learned so much. We are all proud of you.

You may have to call your ISP for some advice also.

    Keep us informed.

    Good luck,

    :) davey

P.S. After some more thought, you know it sounds like you are ready all you need to do is get an ISP person on the Phone and they can tell you the final steps to get assigned an Network address. Good luck !!!

You make sure your key and passwords are all in order and your security software then drop by the forum on your wireless laptop. :P

  4. Hi davey

Installed SP3 back in May !! My Current install is only two weeks old. But all updates up to date.

    System !!!!!

Intel Core 2 Quad Q93000 1333FSB 6MB Cache Quad Core Core 64 Bit Processor

    4GB DDR2 800MHz Dual Channel Ram

    640GB (2 x 320GB) Serial ATA II Hard drive with 16MB Buffer

Dual Nvidia 8800GTX 1024MB PCI-E Graphics Running In SLI Mode

    ;)

That is just what these relate to. Did you have Update and Install problems along the way since MAY? I did.

Anyhow you might want to check these out in case you didn't get some updates offered to you because of these problems.

  5. Hi Disk4mat

Tried excluding drive A:\*.* but it didnt work im afraid, not that that is much of an issue. ;)

    Hi Kalis,

I edited my post above with a few more questions?

How long ago did you go to SP3?

How fresh install or what ?

I would expect some strange things until your PCs get completely updated. There were many after install SP3 problems for some number of reasons.

I think that you pointed that out in your last post. I am checking for a few that you might need and don't even know it. That is why I edited my last post.

    See you later,

    :) davey

  6. Thank you for your reply.

Yes IOLO_SRV is an exe file.

If CCleaner did not delete it, can you suggest how it got removed from my system? (XP Home SP3.)

Where is the text file saved by CCleaner?

The text file is put wherever you want it.

Do you know where the IOLO_SRV file was kept?

Files stored in certain TEMP folders will be also cleaned by CCleaner. If the program was there than it probably gone.

This problem occurs for some IOLO users and reported in the past. You need to find out from other IOLO users where possibly a KEY maybe kept.

I "suspect" that it may be in the Macromedia/Adobe Reader files. I am not sure.

The IOLO program "may" delete some files if it can't find the Key or whatever when you try to run it. I hear that their user support is not very good but who knows you may have better luck than others.

You must not have Macromedia/Adobe Reader checked or all such similar files are deleted.

This includes some users login information to very popular sites such as Yahoo, Google, YouTube etc.

The text file is not automatically saved. The user must request it each time.

    Good luck,

    :) davey

P.S. Later thoughts are that the information may have been hidden in the Registry.

If you used The Registry Issues function then you might try restoring the Registry changes.

  7. Hello,

I have had CCleaner set to securely delete files using the Gutnman method of 35 passes, which for the record is extremely slow, and after using Recuva to see if it was working properly found that all the files were easily recoverable, which was not was I was hoping to find. I run my computer in Administration mode and so this should not be happening. Could someone please let me know why this is happening? Thanks!

    Hi C-Guy,

    Welcome to the forums.

So you were concerned how slow Gutmann method really is. :( Don't be surprised since for 1 GB of overwriting just multiply that by 35 times and 1 GB will be 35 GB worth of overwriting plus the disk rotation time etc. and you can see it takes a lot of time. Too much time and wear and tear on your Hard Drive. :o

1 overwrite is sufficient for your personal security and privacy. Anything else is a waste.

You are new to CCleaner and Recuva. You will find that each does it's job very well.

CCleaner only overwrites(secure deletes) files that it deletes and no others.

Many things that users expect that CCleaner will overwrite or delete are not.

The reasons are that CCleaner has no access to the files or the files were actually deleted by some other method. CCleaner does not know where to find or look for any previously deleted files. This would make the "cleaning" process too slow for millions of users.

You will need to read and learn more about both products. The process of "secure deletion" or file "recovery" is much more complicated than most users would understand.

If you will be sure that no other programs like browsers or other "cleaners" do not delete the files, plus set-up CCleaner properly to delete those files and also not have any other programs running then CCleaner can do it's job. CCleaner does not "cover your tracks" in all ways because it was not designed to do that.

If any user expects more than that then they need other methods.

Criminals and spies know this already.

Regular PC users want privacy and security and that is what they get by using the features of both CCleaner and Recuva.

EDIT P.S. This does not preclude the fact there are always chances for "bugs" to exist and causing the apparent result. However I think with a little more understanding which is just barely covered here in my explanation that you will come to realize that CCleaner is "secure deleting" the files it has deleted in this instance. I think this is demonstrated by the amount of time that it took to complete the task.

Can you please give some more detail in what you think should have been secure deleted but doesn't appear to be based on your running of Recuva?

Can you tell us your OS and ed. and version , Browsers and Security programs.

  8. You know what, something else happened.

Recycle Bin has disappeared, along with the other (few) icons I had on my desktop.

    Hi Fyre,

Just starting to use CCleaner, I take it.

Good for you but surprising sometimes.

I am presuming that you tried using the CCleaner Advanced cleaning options or you messed around with that other Index.dat program.

If so turn off those Advanced cleaning options. They do some strange things that new users should not try until they learn more about CCleaner. Your Start menu list is also probably empty. Many defaults were reset by you using the Advanced cleaning options. Turn them off and your Start menu list should start filling back-in as you run different things.

If you did not use the Advanced cleaning options then don't until later.

Right click on your desktop and select Refresh. Most or all your shortcuts should come back.

  9. Hi

I have a Dell with Vista.

I have a flash drive that contains several thousand documents.

Once per week, I copy (not backup) the entire contents of my flash drive to my computer hard drive.

    Takes too long.

Within a given week, I will change about 40 existing documents and create about 10 new documents.

I am looking for a VISTA routine that will identify the changed and new documents, and then copy only those documents to the computer hard drive (and overwrite the older documents).

I have tried various search criteria, but have not found this routine.

    Can someone help?

    Thanx in advance.

  10. Hi Davey,

Well, it is the defragmenter that came with the computer, I assume that it is a windows Vista one. It freezes for good, it used to start up straight away, but no longer ! I try to run it once the whole computer has started up and is settled, and I have tried it when nothing else is running also, but still no cards.

To tell you the truth, the whole computer seems a bit slow and juttery at the moment, I have run a scan with AVG and installed the CCleaner software, but nothing is showing as infected, and I am starting to get a bit frustrated with it, unfortunatel, my office window isnt quite large enough to throw it out of !!!!

Any help greatly received, and wise words about experience,

    Chamms

    Hi again Chamms,

but nothing is showing as infected, and I am starting to get a bit frustrated with it, unfortunatel, my office window isnt quite large enough to throw it out of !!!!

You are definitely my kind of CCleaner user. Just the kind of member we like.

Either you have a "small" window or an unusually "large" PC . :P

This MS fix may help . http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947562/en-us

What Vista edition and service pack are you using?

    Also YoKenny's question needs answering.

Maybe you can show a snapshot of CCleaner Tools > Startup.

EDIT Also a list from Tools > Uninstall as explained by YoKenny

Also what Andavari suggested is something that I would definitely do.

There are a lot of "bad things" infecting PCs these days. Even Vista PCs.

    Keep us informed,

Vista Users Help Needed - Have you Knowledge or Experience Related to this problem ?

  11. Yes, I've been doing this for several years, actually called Crap. If only CC had a context menu option to run CC on this folder alone, or the option to run Included folders only....

I knew I got that idea from a "reliable source".

Of course you want to name it something less attracive like "Statistics". Nobody is going to look in there.

Everybody and his brother is going to want look into a "XXX Pics" , "JUNK", or "Secrets" folder.

    :) davey

P.S. EDIT As you say WinXP SP3 What edition Home or Pro?

Also what kind of PCs are we talking about ? Manu. + model etc. Especially what CPU chips ?

  12. In the meantime I'd suggest using your installed web browser(s) built-in cleanup tools. I'd then restart Windows especially if that hasn't been done in a long time as that will sometimes have things cure themselves.

Missing images sounds like what DennisD has already explained which could be some security measure preventing something.

Also it can be as simple as those sites are not available to display the photo except it is working on his other PC.

From what is described it does sound like SpywareBlaster doing its job or an IE7 add-on like IE7Pro with ad-blocker turned on.

    :) davey

  13. I don't see any advert but I know that I can't keep the Advertisement in View un-checked.

I only use it for a couple of pdf files I have for my system and my Palm Tungsten E2 that wanted to install Adobe Reader to view the User's Guides.

YoKenny I checked that Advertisement option in View.

That little dinky thing is an advertisement ?

Could have fooled me. It looks more like an option !!! It does have neat little messages.

I'll uncheck it and save the "Piriform Fairy" another trip.

    :) davey

  14. Hi razz, do you have a USB flash drive, or even a camera memory card you could use to transfer it from the PC you're on now, over to yours.

Dial-a-fix is a very small app. Only just over 300kb.

Great idea Dennis. I have to keep that camera memory card in mind. Neat trick. :P

All WinXP users should have Dial-a-fix. It has helped me many times and I use some of it's Tools frequently.

DAF works on all pertinent 32-bit versions of Windows: 98, 98SE, Me, 2000, XP, and Server 2003. Dial-a-fix dynamically disables functions that are not applicable to your version of Windows. The version of Windows with the most support and functionality is currently Windows XP.

    http://wiki.lunarsoft.net/wiki/Dial-a-fix

    Thanks,

    :) davey

  15. I don't see any advert but I know that I can't keep the Advertisement in View un-checked.

I only use it for a couple of pdf files I have for my system and my Palm Tungsten E2 that wanted to install Adobe Reader to view the User's Guides.

I was getting ready to say that I never have any advert stuff.

Must be the "Piriform Fairy" again.

    :) davey

  16. Sorry - small financial crisis followed by small family crisis took me away for a couple of days - but nothing can keep me off the computer for long.

I know indexing (sort of) after all, I just get to it a different way. Indexing is set to Manual. The Status column is blank. On my system the Status always shows either "Started" or it shows nothing. The back up application is Second Copy. It is set up to copy specific files throughout the day. I did notice that Macrium Reflect Image Mounting Service is set to Automatic and Started.

Before answering your post, I opened Windows Explorer to check Accessed dates once more. In My Documents, all the folders show today's date and all the files have yesterday's date. I checked the back up program to see when the files in My Documents would have been copied last and that would have been yesterday at 7:00 p.m. but the Date Accessed is yesterday at 9:02 a.m. and other files in the system show the same date but with times shortly after 9:00 a.m. which leads me to believe that AVG is changing the dates when it scans. It is set to scan every a.m. at 9:00. Did we solve the mystery? I also ran CCleaner to check for temp files. It finds no temp files. Running Glary gets me a short list. Looking in C:\Documents and settings\Owner\LocalSettings\Temp, I see 12.6MB of stuff (for lack of a better word), .dat files, QuickFinder Information Files, and, of course, .tmp files. Also there are all the mysterious (to me) folders. Ooops! You told me to stay away from the temp files.

I checked out the information on the site that Andavari provided. Interesting, but I know I didn't add a DWORD value to regedit and I am unlikely to do so. Well, not today anyway.

    Thanks for your help.

Well, you have found some interesting information. Very interesting and informative !!!

Now, historically speaking in my experience some users just have a hard time getting CCleaner to start cleaning that \Temp . Make sure that your User environment variables are set correctly.

They both(Temp and TMP) should have the following when you "Edit" them. "%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp" without the quotes.

If all is as it should be then I would copy the whole Folder and then Delete everything in it.

After doing this most users have no further problems that I am aware of.

Fill us in when you can.

    Thanks and Good luck,

    :) davey

  17.

    Hi davey,

Its weird coz its done this on a few pcs now, 3 of which are freshly installed XP Pro SP3 systems. There are no strange things about any of the recycle bins, and CCleaner does empty them, just doesnt shred the contents each time. !!

I ticked /unticked and made a log, recycle bin is listed but it hasnt made any difference, If it was just my PC that was doing this, well ok.... but it isnt, i have seen this on quite a few now.

How big are your Recycle bins ?

Do you get any messages when you delete things to the Recycle.?

CCleaner can't shred what just gets deleted and not actually put into the Recycle Bin.

You may want to set-up a Special Shred Folder. And drag and drop all the "monsters" into there.

Have an Include entry in CCleaner for that folder to be cleaned.

    :) davey

  18. Didn't see this in any of the posts. The beginners guide advices to leave the default files set. But, I undid all of mine, now I don't know which ones to check. Anybody know how to set the default again?

    emm

    Hi emm,

    Welcome to the forums. :D

    This should help you .

    http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?s=&amp...st&p=111948

Alternatively since we don't know your set-up.

1 Uninstall CCleaner and install again.

2 Start CCleaner and toggle all the options down to and including Tick Options > Advanced and tick Save settings to INI file.

3 Copy or rename the (cc)leaner.ini file that is in C:\Program Files\CCleaner. Rename it or copy it and call

    it CCleanerDefaultvers.ini or whatever.

    Good luck,

  19. Hi - Here is the file name

    C:\Documents and Settings\Compaq_Administrator\Local Settings\Temp\IadHide5.dll

    Thanks - Cheryl Ann

BackWeb can make all the claims they want, and even though they're not considered adware/spyware in the traditional sense I still don't trust having that on a system. A thorough search of the disk and registry with something like RegSeeker using its search/find function can reveal where that crap is hiding.

In the past with a former camera software I used I had totally remade the setup file to exclude the BackWeb crap - that's how much I didn't and still don't trust it.

    IadHide5 ???

    BackWeb ???

With names like those, who would trust them ??? Sort of like "GetYourVirusHere.Com" :o

  20. Hi Nergal yep thats it !! I checked it again... here goes...

    Hi Kalis,

Are we having fun or what ? I think so.

Man, Kalis, you must have a monster Recycle Bin(s) !!!

Or maybe that is part of the problem.

Tell us about your Recycle Bins. Also any messages that you get when you put stuff in there will help.

Just for your benefit and some other users as well. Do this fun thing before you print off your

CCleaner.ini file . After you see it, you may want to create a new backup of YOUR CCleaner.ini file also.

    1. Start CCleaner.

    2. This is the fun part. Just don't "goof it up" and not reset the option the way that it was when you started.

Toggle each "individual" option. If it is ticked then untick it and then tick it again . Vice-versa if it is unticked at the start.

    3. Do this for each "individual" option in each category in each tab. Windows tab and Application tab.

    4. Do this in Registry issues as well. Remember, "individual" options only.

    5. Do this in Options > Settings This also includes the language.

    6. Do this in Options > Advanced This also includes toggling the Save settings to INI file. This must be toggled last and left ticked but it must be toggled or this whole process is wasted.

    7. Exit CCleaner.

Now look at the CCleaner.ini file. Nice and sorted and it shows each and every setting. We don't have to remember what the embedded internal "default" is.

When you provide a list then you can edit out personal info with XXX's and such. PLEASE DO SO.

    :) davey

P.S. Here is an example of my CCleaner.ini file.

  21. All problems seem to have been solved (a looong day trying tons of things finally paid off) EXCEPT for one more problem that I need help to solve. I have NO Internet connection. My modem and router are working fine (so is my wife?s PC which is 3 ft. away from mine).

Here is my current status for settings in msconfig:

    General Tab

I am using Selective Startup and have a check mark in Process SYSTEM.INI File (so all items are checked under the SYSTEM,INI tab).

    I am using Original BOOT.INI

I have enabled a few of the programs that I want to run under the Stratup tab.

    WIN.INI Tab

I have all items listed disabled (i.e. not checked)

    BOOT.INI Tab

    Nothing checked so all disabled

    Services Tab

Checkmark for only 3 items, as follows:

    DCOM Service Process Launcher

(under Essential heading it says Yes) ? (Under Status it says Running).

    Remote Procedure Call (RPC) Locator

(under Essential heading it says Yes) - (under Status it says Stopped).

    Remote Procedure Call (RPC)

(under Essential heading it says Yes) ? (under Status it says Running).

If anyone can suggest what to do to get Internet Connection, I would greatly appreciate it!

I assume its just some setting or something I have to activate.

    Thank you.

    Hi razz,

Seems like you have been busy.

You comment about Services and what is checked and not checked concerns me.

Time to visit Black Viper and Review your Windows services for XP. Right?

    http://www.blackviper.com/WinXP/servicecfg.htm

Also note what he has to say about Msconfig and services.

Once you get your Services set, I recommend that you turn everything on and connected and then Run the Network Wizard on both your PCs and also Wireless wizard if needed.

Time for a Reboot. Both PCs. Don't skip this !!!

    Now try your Internet.

    Good luck,

    :) davey

P.S. I would not run any "cleaners", do any "defrags" or "delete" anything for at least 2 or 3 days.

I know , "some" things have to be "deleted" or "uninstalled" but don't do "anything" maintenance related unless it is absolutely necessary. You may never realize this and I hope so but doing this in this fashion may save you lots of time if necessary.

P.S. Also razz, it is important to NOT Start a "new topic" each time something changes. Please keep all related updates and Posts in the same thread.

It is also important that when someone is helping you as in YoKenny's case, if they ask you for information then you must provide that information. This is very important for you to get the correct information and help that is needed. The information that he asked for such as CPU,etc. is some of the most basic information needed to provide help. If you are not certain then provide what you can and let those helping you figure out how you can find that information.

No bad feelings at all, here. :P You just need to follow these guidelines so you are helped properly. It also makes it easier for others to understand what has already transpired. :P

  22. XP 64 bit

I downloaded the latest version (v1.02.085) and when I was running it, it just disappeared during building file list or defragging depending on the sizes of the drive.

It seems that some bugs specific to 64 bit OS have been fixed, but for me, its operation got much worse.

    Any ideas what's happening ?

    Hi taka,

Try this and thanks for taking your time to help us. :D

You need to use this thread and submit the Defrag debug report.

Defraggler debug mode, What it is and how to use it...

Thanks in advance for submitting you "debug" report

    Good luck,

  23. Thanks for replying, I will try not top appear tooooo stupid, but I am a bit of a muppet with computers !

System is Vista 32 bit, RAM is 2038 and 2.99 GHz

    CPU3.00 GHz Dell dimension E520

Is that the info you were looking for ?

Sorry to be so crap !!!

    Thanks,

    Chamms.

    Hi chamms,

    Welcome to the forums. :D

Thanks for answering YoKenny's questions. This information helps to determine how best to help you.

We all suffer from being "inexperienced" in different ways in many things.

We all "get by with a little help from our friends" !!!

Do not try running "any" 3RD party Defrags during Vista Start-up.

You will possibly also lose all your System Restore points that way.

When are you trying to run this "defrag" program and what is it called ?

How long does this "freeze" occur ? There are times when things are running and doing what they are supposed to do and it can appear that the "system is frozen". Some programs will not let other programs run when they are running also.

  24. Before posting this I used the search option and piled through several pages but didn't find what I was looking for ... apologies if this has already been covered somewhere.

When setting up CCleaner, if you check the box for Applications/Windows/Regedit, what exactly will get deleted? What is the protocol? I had a major snafu editing the registry a few years ago and have been skittish about that since. I use Registry Mechanic for cleaning up the registry. Can someone explain what CCleaner does with regedit? Is it accurate to assume that periodically using Registry Mechanic accomplishes the same task?

In a related question: in Settings/Advanced there is an option to "only delete Windows temp files that are older than 48 hours." Is this just an abundance of caution type option? What is the recommended setting? I am inclined to not use that option and have all temp files cleaned but would be interested in any input on that.

    Thank you for your assistance.

    Hi Jerry,

    Welcome to the forums. :P

Good questions and answers from those here.

The one thing I know about your Regedit question is that you will not lose your Regedit Favorite settings.

Registry Mechanic is similar to what CCleaner Registry Issues function does.

As regards "Windows temp files older than 48 hours" most users leave that option off.

As Andavari points out there are some applications that store things in the Temp folders and rely on that data being there during or after the Reboot.

Therefore it is not recommended to run CCleaner immediately after installing new software or deleting some old software in my mind at least. I will wait awhile to run CCleaner in these situations. I will also avoid doing "defrags" soon as well. I would rather wait until I am certain everything is stable before doing "maintenance" type programs or procedures. Of course if you have many "automatic" things then you have created your own "rock and a hard place".

    Good luck,

    :) davey

  25. There are things beyond WhyReboot.:ph34r:

It is quicker and better to get clean programs and certain things reset by a Reboot.

Of course there are some users who insist that "THEY know better". These are the same ones that always have "glitches", hang-ups, slow-downs, freezes, you name it they have had it.

Has your computer been acting "weird" lately ?:o
