Dennis, just on a final note I use media player classic to watch all my dvd's, avi files etc by default (in windows media player tools, options, files types I unticked things like dvd and avi)
I find watching in media classic good as there are so many things you can do, zoom, fast forward etc. Have a try.
The mystical ball one, when it first appeared on the forum caused some members to try their mathamatical best to sort it out

Not a news link but a recent forum link about the same thing I suspect

Also an oldish link written in a very humerous style, even if it is for some people a sad subject

Dennis, like rridgely I use Picasa for all my photos and movies off my camera. It does a great job of everything, and best of all, it's free
Also when you download your pics and you have some on your sd card that are already on the computer, Picasa will ignore them so you don't get them twice.
When you download the installer and you run it, the default options for install are usually c/programs, are you accepting this default?
Also if you open the task manager is it listed in processes?
Don't forget under a lot of places in the computer it may be listed under Grisoft.
I don't believe the woman had any intention of corrupting schoolkids. it's just another "sue" case, media pressure and all that.
These days I feel sorry for kids who are always having to be "protected" in some cases so much they never have a chance to assess and learn how to deal with situations and danger. (I'm not talking about porn here, that goes without saying)
When I was at school, a long time ago I might add, when it was really cold and freezing, the teacher would throw buckets of water onto the playground so it would freeze and we could have fun at playtimes sliding in the school yard.
I can still slide with the best of them to this day!!
Just come across this while browsing, any of you firefox users know anything about it? It looks to have been posted on a few sites in the last few days.

There was a similar problem posted here
http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?showto...=issues+freezes
As no one else posted in it for a couple of months, perhaps the problem was solved in some way for them.
Any connections you can see between them?
By the way, welcome
Look here and follow the advice there first about the runtimes, and then see how you go.
