  1. i am thinking down-grading one of my system from the current windows xp to windows 2000... how you guys think about it?
  2. i agree... there are many websites that test antivirus for their effectiveness, but results are offen different from one website from the other...
  3. you can actually keep the necessary cookies... and prevent CCleaner from removing them... to do so, launch CCleaner, and click on options... then select the "cookies" button and move the cookies you want to keep...
  4. you can disable this... go to internet explorer, then tools -> internet options... under the content tab, click on "AutoComplete" and uncheck all the checkboxes... and click on both the "Clear Form" and "Clear Password" button...
  5. LEEnoble, i think you should try both of them to see which one of them you prefer...

  9. i would said that avant browser is a good browser based on internet explorer engine... especially the tabbed browsing... and mouse gensture... however, i decided to remove it is because it is just like another internet explorer... in additional of many other features... i use firefox (which i dont like in the past) as my default browser, and hardly launch internet explorer... so no point for me to keep other "internet explorer" in my system...

  11. CCleaner will run on Windows 95/98/NT4/ME/2000/XP/2003...
  12. it really depends... i like AVG because it is "lighter" on the system... but a more powerful ones, will be avast...
  13. any P2P applications will have potential danger...

    new version?

    if you want to know if there is any new version release, at the home page of CCleaner website, there is a section that reads "What's New"... then there will be some version of CCleaner display there, along with the new features or fixtures... beside each version, there will be a release date... the update you see at the top of the home page maybe for CCleaner new release too...

    the update on 10th is update of website... not CCleaner program...
  18. the files deleted can be recover easily using third party data recovery software software...
  19. tarun, i tried to register in your website, but when i tried to login, they tell me that Our records do not indicate an existing user named agumon...
