Just curious if anyone here has had an MRI done before. If so, what was it like?

Congrats!!

Glasgow airport is shut down due to an attack that happend just a little bit ago. Two men were arrested, but one was taken to the hospital because he was on fire. They drove a Jeep Cherokee, engulfed in flames, into a terminal.

What is wrong with these people?!?!?!

Very scary indeed. Kinda makes you wonder where they will plant their next bombs, cars and otherwise. I hope and pray the next ones (and you know there will be plenty) are quickly defused as well so no one gets hurt. It's a shame to realize what's become of everyday life because of the acts of terrorists. You never know what they will try next.

Serves you right! Hehe just kidding.

LOL I saw your post in the other thread...something about cats being sent to an outpost on the other side of the moon. Ring a bell? lol

I have no sympathy for people who say mean things about cats.
LOL just kidding. I'm sorry to hear about the problems with your computer. I know what it's like to have your PC go alien on you. At least it's fixed now though. Stupid machines.

LOL the funny part is there is so much truth to that comic. Love it! Thanks for the laugh!!
-
Most definitely!!
-
LOL I know. I did a double-take when I saw the link on Yahoo. Funny part is I own a kitler. So I submitted his pic. haha I hope they post it.
-
Thought some of you would get a kick out of this one...
-
Well, don't have any pets to speak of, but I've a nice pic of my sons dogs I took while I was looking after them for him last summer.
The white Boxer is Kiera, the other Molly.
Every time I went out, they parked themselves on the stairs watching me drive away, and almost without fail, they were there when I got back.
On this occasion, they were ready before I got out the door.
They're so cute!!! I love doggies. This is my little munchkin. I want an Old English Sheep Dog but I'm not allowed to have big dogs. But it's ok, the little booger keeps me entertained. lol
-
Awww thank you.
-
That's a kick ass picture. I may steal it from you.
When I took the first glance I thought it was the Black Pearl. lol
-
LOL it probably is. But it'd look kick ass with a spiked collar on it anyway.
-
Yeah then some grocery clerk might end up calling the Police saying
"He bolted out of the store so fast, I think he stole some cereal."
LOL
edit - I can imagine the strip search now with the cop asking the culprit where he hid the box of cereal.
-
Now that's my kind of kitty!
-
My face would probably turn so red from embarassment. I think I'd run out of the store. lol
-
I never cease to be amazed by the colours of insects, and your pics are great Lulu. The colours are really unusual.
Thank you. I'm glad I'm not the only one fascinated by this stuff. lol I can honestly say that's the first time I've seen those colors on grasshoppers around here. I guess we should thank JD and his parrot for contributing. lol
I think you're gonna have to catch one of those guys, and put him under a glass. But make sure you put him under the open end.hahaha
Edit: Forgot to ask, what else do you have creeping and slithering around your garden?Worse still, what do you find wandering about your house?
Ugh, we have all kinds of stuff roaming around. lol Racoons, roof rats (usually only in the winter), sometimes we have water spiders in the pool after a good rain, all kinds of frogs and toads, little teeny tiny smaller-than-a-dime snails, all sorts of snakes, other weird bugs that I don't know the names of, cadydid beetles (not sure if that's the correct spelling); it's a regular wildlife preserve out there sometimes. lol
As for in the house, since this is Florida we do have the occasional cockroach. Big buggers too. If you throw a brick at them, they'll throw it right back.
-
Yup. My brother gave me this one as a Christmas present a couple years ago. It's served me well, that's for sure. Even when I get a new one, I'll probably still use it from time to time. Thanks for the tip about the macro stuff.
-
No macro function. Figures. lol
-
Yeah I thought they were pretty. I wish the neon green ones would come back so I could get some pics of those, but I haven't seen them around here in a few years.
I have a cheapie digital camera that doesn't have meany features. So needless to say I haven't figured out how to do a close up on a subject and have it come out crisp. I just need a new camera I think. lol
MRI anyone?

Cool, thanks for the replies! I have one scheduled for next week for my foot. Got hurt at work in April and it's still not up to par so the doc wants to see if I did more damage that he originally thought. I've heard the tube is "close quarters", so to speak, which bothers me just a little. I can handle tight spaces, but it depends on just how tight. lol The lady on the phone told me there's a good chance I'll go in foot first and have my head completely out of the machine, but with my luck they'll shove me all the way in. lol
