  1. My original reply was going to be "I might believe you, but I'm more inclined to believe a cat" but I figured y'all might want to commit me to the funnyfarm for that one. lol

  2. I've just had too many bad experiences with cats. It seems like every time I touch one I get bitten or scratched.

And people can say the same about dogs. I know people who've been bitten, scratched and downright mauled by dogs (and no, not while playing with them), but they still don't go around saying that all dogs are evil. There are good and bad in both species.

  3. I love Maine Coones. We think one of our old kitties, Mittens (may she rest in peace), was a Maine Coone mix...similar features/size/temperament. They are so pretty and always seem to have such beautiful colors/markings.

And if you like big cats, check out Ragdoll Cats. Beautiful, playful kitties. Can't wait till I get one. :D

  4. Now I think of it, an EMP might be better than a shotgun..... :D

Or just call on Davy Jones to release the Kraken and take that sucker to the locker never to return!

  5. Now, do you want one of your own, or a shotgun to take care of it???? :P:D

LMAO Yeah I'll opt for the shotgun. haha I'm mean, aren't I?

Kinda reminds me of the "babies" in the new movie License to Wed starring Robin Williams. If someone presented me with one of those things, I think I'd run in the opposite direction.

  6. How many times have you seen this movie? :P

LOL only twice, but hope to see it at least 2-3 more before it leaves the theaters. That should hold me over till the DVD release. I hope.

And you don't even want to know how many times I'v seen other two. haha

  7. go have fun

And fun we did have! Can't wait to see it again...maybe next weekend.

And I've decided that I'm going to have a Pirate Party for my birthday this year. Arrrggghhh matey!!

  8. You don't have your previous computers?

You could just use swap out one of those floppy drive's into your new machine.

No I sold them for parts. But I *do* have my uncle's old PC that I thought I could fix up for my dad to use so maybe I'll just steal that one. lol Good thinkin' Firery, thanks!

  9. It only lets you see the first 5 minutes, I couldn't let myself download it all.

Funny, the first thing they start mentioning is pirates  then they start hanging.

    Rather appropriate :D

I'd download it all but I'd probaby get caught and fined. lol But oh well, I'm off to see it now. And I'm even dressed for it...hehehehe

  10. The bad thing about floppies though is their ability to get bad sectors very easily, even without using them. I was all for Iomega ZIP drives back in like 1998 until mine got the click of death. Now looking back I was spending way too much on ZIP disks compared to what flash-based USB backup devices costs nowadays.

I wasn't able to afford all the fancy USB backup stuff back then (still can't to be honest..lol) and i had a ton of empty floppies. So they came in handy. Only problem now is that I don't have a floppy drive in this PC so if I want to access all my shtuff I need to buy an external floppy drive. haha Oh well, if it ain't one thing it's another.

  11. I've had a few mishaps with my PCs...

    1. my 2nd computer had to be reformatted a few times due to "windows errors", but luckily I was able to back everything up on floppy.

    2. my 3rd computer had to be reformatted twice, both times losing all the pictures, mp3s, and writings i had done because i wasn't even able to use my floppy drive (or my CD burner).

    3. my 3rd computer subsequently ended up getting fried during Hurricane Charley (and yes I had it plugged into a surge protector...which also was fried...lol).

    4. the worst so far (knock wood) with the PC i have now is that it got hacked into (thank you Norton Firewall!!! thank gosh I switched to ZoneAlarm) and some very private photos and writings had been deleted (and most likely copied) from my hard drive.

  12. Awesome link! The opening scene is awesome (not that people dying is cool...lol) and the song, Hoist the Colors, is STILL stuck in my head even though I saw it like 2 weeks ago. You definitely have to see the movie. And whatever you do, don't leave for a potty break because odds are you'll get lost when you get back to the film. lol

  13. LOL watching him run...you can't do anything but laugh. I seriously love how he played the character and doubt anyone could do as good a job as he has thus far. Plus his facial expressions are classic.

I like the action figures. I'd buy the whole set if I could (and maybe a life-size one of Will...hehe). I'm definitely a sucker for collectibles. I'll add them to my list of look-ups on eBay. I'm sure I'll find them there. haha

Haven't seen Kingdom of Heaven, but did see a screen shot of Orlando in a bed half naked, so yeah I have to see it. *blushes*

  14. There was a whole family of frogs living in my girlfriends garden when she moved into her house. The previous owners had a pond but had just filled it with mud and rubble. We use to see the odd frog quite regularly but when I dug out the rubble to fill the pond in properly there were 6 or 7 frogs living there. I've got some pics somewhere (including me with one sat on my hand :D ) but they were taken on a film camera, I might have a look for them and scan one in to post.

Yeah look for 'em and post one or two. We have tons of frogs/toads around here...all kinds. I wish I had a pic of the old bullfrog that used to live in my garage. I swear that sucker had to weigh at least 5-10 pounds. He was a biiiiggg mo-fo. And his croak was so loud.

One of my friends is like deathly afraid of frogs. So, me being the good friend that I am, tend to send her froggie photos every now and then. Muahahaha yeah I'm mean. But at least she has a good sense of humor about it. When I sent her the one that I posted in this thread, she didn't notice the frog right away. So I told her to blow up the image and when she did, I thought she was gonna pass out. lol
