Microsoft 365 apps will only open when opened as administrator

Recommended Posts

I have been using CCleaner Professional for many years.

I never encountered this problem.

Another Microsoft 365 user advised me to delete the CCleaner app from my system and try again.

After I deleted CCleaner, the Microsoft 365 apps opened normally, no need to pen as administrator.

Anyone recognizes this problem?

I can't reconstruct this on my pc.  Are you using custom clean or health check? Are you using the registry section? Performance optimizer?

ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION

DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.

Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)

ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.

Are you putting MS 365 apps to 'sleep' with Performance Optimiser, and so then need Admin permission to re-awaken it?

Oops, Hazelnut already said that - see the link above.

Worried about 'Tracking Files'? Worried about why some files come back after cleaning? See this link:
