Moderators Nergal Posted November 5, 2023 Moderators Share Posted November 5, 2023 Check that your antimalware is not blocking it. Are you opening ccleaner.exe or ccleaner64.exe (the former should launch the latter but maybe av is stopping it) ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. Moderators Andavari Posted November 6, 2023 Moderators Share Posted November 6, 2023 It "may be remedied" by an upcoming Windows Update for this month that fixes various issues. One in particular being Windows Defender ("Microsoft Defender Antivirus") blocking some binaries from running.

I tried turning off Defender, Malwarebytes, making exception rule to both as well. Thanks
Moderators nukecad Posted November 6, 2023 Moderators Share Posted November 6, 2023 Just a thought, are you using the current "Standard" installer. If the installer that you are using asks you to tick a box to "Run CCleaner" at the end of the install then it is not the current Standard installer and it may ask you to do that. *** Out of Beer Error ->->-> Recovering Memory *** Worried about 'Tracking Files'?
