ekh
As per the topic, Speccy is implying I have McAfee installed. I've checked with Windows search tool and just manually trying to look for any trace of McAfee software on my computer. But I can't find such. This is actually bothering me, because Speccy seems such a great software, but why on earth does it do this for me? Anyone else have experienced anything similar? I'll attach two pictures that should tell the tale.
Moderators Andavari Posted September 3, 2021 Moderators Share Posted September 3, 2021 If it's a pre-built computer from a manufacturer and if McAfee was pre-installed then uninstalled on the machine perhaps that could be why it's detecting it. trium
mmmh... you seems to have installed an mcafee suit with antivirus and firewall with signature database is up to date... as andavari mean - have you uninstalled this one? have you looked at "programs and features" (or what is named in w10) to uninstall all kind of "mcafee" entrys? you can also take ccleaner -> tools -> uninstall there must be an background process of mcafee because the signature is up to date. take a look with ccleaner -> tools -> startup ---> "windows" and "scheduled tasks" of "mcafee" entries Versions of CCleaner Cloud; Introduction Ccleaner Cloud; Ccleaner-->System-Requirements; Ccleaner FAQ´s; Ccleaner builds; Scheduling Ccleaner Free Es ist möglich, keine Fehler zu machen und dennoch zu verlieren. Das ist kein Zeichen von Schwäche. Das ist das Leben -> "Picard"
