Eldmannen
Hello Windows has a feature called "Automatic Update" where it launches it on certain times. I wonder if anyone know if it is possible to launch it on demand somehow? So that you can launch it without have to wait for it to launch itself... krit86lr
You could change the date and time to launch it on demand. Or just click on start > Windows update. I'm not sure that answered your question though. zaphirer
You could try making the service manual, and enabling it whenever you want to update. Run -> Services.msc

A "automatic_updates.exe /checknow" command or something would be cool...
DjLizard
wuauclt.exe /DetectNow Note: Do not disable wuauserv (aka "Automatic Updates" in services.msc). Instead, set it to "Disable automatic updates" on the Automatic Updates tab of System Properties (which doesn't disable the service, allowing you to use wuauclt.exe) and leave wuauserv set to Automatic. Edit: hey cool - fast way to settings dialog -- wuauclt.exe /showsettingsdialog (then choose More Options) Click here if CCleaner Issues are re-appearing DjLizard.net DjLizard.net wiki Dial-a-fix Dial-a-fix tips DjLizard.net software support forum Do you live in Bradenton, Sarasota, Tampa, or St. Petersburg, Florida?
