Remember last regedit key location

Regedit normally remembers the last registry key location, so that next time you open it, it takes you straight to the last viewed registry key. I like that feature. Unfortunately it appears that running CCleaner gets rid of the last registry key location. Is there a way of disabling this? I've tried un-checking 'RegEdit' under Applications/Windows, but that doesn't seem to have the desired effect.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

It's Other Explorer MRUs located in:

Cleaner > Windows (tab) > Windows Explorer > Other Explorer MRUs

Untick Other Explorer MRUs to retain the MRU history.

This is what it contains which is removing the RegEdit MRU:

[Other Explorer MRUs]
ID=1011
LangSecRef=3002
LangRef=3124
Default=True
RegKey1=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ComDlg32
RegKey2=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FindComputerMRU
RegKey3=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\PrnPortsMRU
RegKey4=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Map Network Drive MRU
RegKey5=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ComputerDescriptions
RegKey6=HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Direct3D\MostRecentApplication|Name
RegKey7=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Direct3D\MostRecentApplication|Name
RegKey8=HKLM\Software\Microsoft\DirectDraw\MostRecentApplication
RegKey9=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\DirectInput\MostRecentApplication|Id
RegKey10=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\DirectInput\MostRecentApplication|Name
RegKey11=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\WordWheelQuery
RegKey12=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\TypedPaths
RegKey13=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Applets\Regedit|LastKey
RegKey14=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Wallpaper\MRU
RegKey15=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Wallpapers\Images

Hmm, upon looking into this for you I realized that's why my wallpaper folder is always forgotten. Would be nice if Piriform separated some of those MRUs for a more tailored configuration.

Just looked again, you will need to untick both of these since they'll both remove the RegEdit MRU:

Cleaner > Windows (tab) > Windows Explorer > Other Explorer MRUs

Cleaner > Applications (tab) > Windows > RegEdit

Correct Trium they both delete this:

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Applets\Regedit|LastKey

I made a post for the bug fixers to report it since it's a duplication, so if someone wanted to keep the MRU they'd never know there were two items in CCleaner to untick/disable.

You can use ccleaner's exclude section to tailor some of those not to remove

ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION

DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.

Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)

ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
