Great - thanks for the very useful answers

Regedit normally remembers the last registry key location, so that next time you open it, it takes you straight to the last viewed registry key. I like that feature. Unfortunately it appears that running CCleaner gets rid of the last registry key location. Is there a way of disabling this? I've tried un-checking 'RegEdit' under Applications/Windows, but that doesn't seem to have the desired effect. Thanks for any help you can provide.
