I used to have Foxit and its uninstaller did not fully remove it; very annoying.

I strongly recommend the FREE PORTABLE version of PDF-XChange Viewer

I find it better than Foxit, and it does not embed itself into my operating system.

There are 8 "flavours" and the fourth one down is my choice - Portable ZIP | 7 MB

 

This unzips and I have in one folder (not yet updated from last June)

10 MB executable

7 MB help file

1.5 MB of dozen or so other files.

There was probably a language folder but it does not need that for English.

I dont like this version at all, gone back to the previous one.
