Why ? Thank you very much for your fantastic software. Regards. It's there, but it's not easy to find. First go to the main download page: http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download Scroll down and click as shown: That takes you to the same place identified in marmite's response. Moderators Nergal Posted January 28, 2010 Moderators Share Posted January 28, 2010 It's always been in the same place ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. marmite
It's always been in the same place Ah so it's always been tucked away then! Doesn't help new users, in particular.
JDPower
Making the other builds obvious would remove one of Piriform's only sources of income - the Yahoo toolbar. Doesn't help new users, in particular. But new users wouldn't be downloading it: Builds below are for system admins and advanced users
marmite
But new users wouldn't be downloading it: Eh?! An inexperienced user maybe. But as a new user to CCleaner why on earth wouldn't an experienced computer user want to have the choice of installing a slim build, a U3 build or a portable build? A new user (to CCleaner) and an advanced (PC) user can be synonymous! Maybe the test of an advanced user is finding the link
