Anthony A
Opera 9.5 final installs into Opera 9.27 location so CCleaner detects it. When I look at the list of items to be cleaned there are tow that are now included that were not before here is a shot of what gets cleaned The second and third entries with "revocation" in them are not something i have seen before with Opera in CCleaner. When I run CCleaner and let it clean those Opera starts up blank. There is nothing there. You have to shut Opera down and launch it again to get it to launch normal. I reproduced this several times and it does it every time.

If not, I'm sure somebody else will be along soon to look at this. Good Luck! Vic VicLovan.com http://www.viclovan.com/ccleaner2settings.htm Good Luck! I also have Opera set to empty it's cache and Cookies on close so that's why there is very little in that screen shot for CCleaner to clean. daydotz
i think opera 9.50 isnt cleaned by CCleaner yet as the location of operas cache has changed from the default location of c/docs an setting/userdata/application data / opera profile this location still exsists so cleaner detects operas install an it then cleans empty folders ive been looking an think ive discovered the new location where data is stored c/docs&settings/user/local setttings/application data/opera/profile/cache4 CCleaner just needs to add this path to its program
Moderators hazelnut Posted June 15, 2008 Moderators Share Posted June 15, 2008 A bit of info on revocation certificates http://my.opera.com/yngve/blog/2008/04/08/...ificate-updates If you look at post 8 down the page it says the info is kept out of the way of normal cache maintainance, so not sure if this should be cleaned or not anthony. I have 9.5 installed and Opera checked and it detects the files and lists them to be cleaned. My screen shot shows that clearly. The location you are talking about is for Opera installs that are for multiple users. If you use the Opera classic installer you have the option of installing Opera for single users and when you do this the cache and profile are not located in c/docs&settings folder. They are in the c/program files/opera/profile folder as my screen shot also shows.

Thats why I started the thread. I noticed them being listed to be cleaned and I never seen them there before. I'm not sure what is happening but when I clean Opera 9.5 with CCleaner and than launch Opera I get a blank screen with just a title bar. I have to close Opera and restart it and then it looks fine and works fine.
