hi dennis, i got no messages or popups from ccleaner -> but 2 messages from my firewall after installing the newest version and a first look with this. if the update-box is unchecked, should start an automatically search for newer versions at all by ccleaner itself?

mmmh... avg under avast is not become better with changed user interface and it have blocked my email download for a while the best is to wait and see how it develops and in which direction under the leadership of avast perhaps piriform gets an own community forum software...?

ublock v1.13.8 gorhill released this 2 days ago Notes Stock filter lists I added code to enable me to remove stock filter lists in a seamless way for users. There are a couple of stock filter lists I wish to remove (because no longer maintained), but I refrain from doing so because it would be rude to remove a stock filter list which might be enabled for some users out there. The added code will convert removed stock filter lists which are enabled into imported filter lists, so that no change occurs in the resulting filterset from a user's point of view. Firefox WebExtensions I received an email from Firefox informing me that on September 1st, 2017, all the extensions having "featured" status which are not converted to webext on AMO will lose their "featured" status. I plan to push the webext-hybrid version of uBO into uBO’s dev channel on AMO as soon as 1.13.8 is published. I don’t think the webext-hybrid qualifies as a webext, but is a necessary step to migrate user data seamlessly. When I push webext-hybrid to dev channel of AMO, this will happen: script:contains filters will stop working cosmetic filters will no longer use the browser's user stylesthis is something I need to address -- user styles are still possible with webext, but this will require some non-trivial re-work because currently user styles are injected in content scripts, while with webext they have to be injected through the main process; also I still need to take the time to create/demonstrate a real test case of what I see as a theoretical flaw in the API regarding style injection through tabs.insertCSS: the call is asynchronous, thus there is no guarantee the page which is meant to be injected is still present in the target tab. on my xp i have exactly one app that use net.framework -> in this case net.framework 2.0 sp2 all other software i dont need and use -there are other alternatives :-) only for testing reasons i have installed all net.Frameworks from 1, 1.1 -> 2 -> 3 -> 3.5 to 4 and tryed different apps, but after this and as willy and andavari says, it gives many updates, there´re needed a lot of time. also there are installproblems/errors... in the end i have xp new installed and only with net.Framework 2.0 sp2. after uninstalling the unwanted versions there are usually following problems -> especially if you want reinstall a version -> in my experiences there are often errormessages and aborts...

Google Chrome, with uBO installed from Chrome store The extension is disabled in chromeMore specifically, this is due to a Chromium bug, see #2720 (comment). Chromium bug: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=720597. As reported by users, if you click Repair, you will lose all your settings in uBO, see #2720 (comment). Consequently, force an update of the extension, do not click "Repair" -- my understanding so far is that forcing an update will not cause all your uBO settings to be lost. 1.13.0 had been released to only 20% of all Chrome store users. In the unfortunate event all your uBO settings were lost, you will have to restore them. If you do not have a backup of your settings, you may give this a try.

Element zapper Ability to zap DOM elements on the current page: The purpose is to quickly deal with the removal of nuisance elements on a page without having to create one or more filters: see documentation.
