  1. For me, I have a huge list of cookies I want to keep—from financial institutions and government websites. That's why I became so reliant on CCleaner, but now it's just the "old-fashioned way" of deleting cookies one by one, launching Chrome in Incognito, use Firefox, or using Chrome's nuclear approach. Anyway, it's Thursday night. Almost the end of the week. Let's see if there'll be an update tomorrow or this weekend. I'm not holding my breath, though.
  2. Let's hope so. Because many websites are optimized for Chromium browsers such as Edge, Having to manually delete certain cookes and keep only the ones you want is a PIA. Although I have now set Firefox as my default browser (for most sites). Someone should create a browser extension that has this capablity.
  3. Since ccleaner browser is a Chromium based browser, it's in Chrome as well. I have added the above to the "exclusion" list: "settings/cookies?search=cookies" and "Sites that can never use cookies" , It's in the ccleaner browser. I am not using any extensions in ccleaner. Sorry, I'm having issues with text formatting on your site today.
  4. Well, no settings have changed and fingerprinting isn't working properly (again).
  5. Add me to the list. Additionally, the lack of a clear and transparent privacy policy which has [also] been criticized by many [professional] reviewers/experts online is a concern. This is just a half-arsed AVAST browser. The browser adds two cookies to your browser every time you open it, and you can't blacklist them. I created a thread for this issue. I don't think this browser is secure. Fingerprinting sometimes works, other times it doesn't despite changing the settings to strict.
  6. Nope you did not. You just rambled on and on and said nothing relevant to my concerns. All you were doing is gaslighting. Bye.
  7. @nukecad You didn't answer my question. I'm referring the Piriform browser. The lack of transparency regarding their privacy policy regarding their browser leaves me very concerned.
  8. CCleaner browser imported all my passwords. Should I be concerned they can be accessed by anyone and are the passwords sent to CCleaner servers?
  9. These two always return despite adding them to the blacklist: assets-client.ccleanerbrowser.com locally stored data onboarding.ccleanerbrowser.com locally stored data
  10. Edit. I see that fingerprinting is disabled by default. It should be enabled. Now, it's good after enabling. But why can't I move the addon store bookmark? I can only delete it?
  11. Unlike with Firefox, CCleaner browser reveals certain system info such as the CPU, RAM and the video card you're using. I tested with many sites but the one I like the best is deviceinfo.me. Firefox does not leak this info using anti-fingerprinting methods.
  12. This is a great example of a troll-like comment. We see this kind of mindset with anti-vaxxers, covidiots, and conspiracy theorists (just to name a few). If they [personally] don't experience a behaviour or outcome, then they blatantly deny there's an issue or concern. I am glad Dave, the Admin finally acknowledged the issue so trolls like redwolfe can reflect on their twisted thinking.
  13. Now we're programmers? Seriously, you need to stop shilling/defending Piriform. The latest update for CCleaner still doesn't address the Chrome cookie issue. This is a great example of incompetence or ineptitude. Which one is it? The WORKAROUND is to use Firefox or Edge (for W10+) or another Chromium based browser where it hasn't been moved the cookie location. Otherwise, use Chrome's Cookie cleaner Settings (Advanced mode) to clear all cookies, cookies within an hour, 24 hours, etc). Set up a bookmark: chrome://settings/clearBrowserData
  14. I downloaded Firefox on a Win 7x64 machine. CCleaner isn't cleaning (or detecting) cookies there either.
  15. Thanks. Normally I would keep it to one thread. But given how the other thread has more traction and the degree of ineptitude from CCleaner, I felt it necessary to post in multiple places for archival purposes. Anyway, I have uninstalled CCleaner as it's now useless to me. You folks are remaining silent (as usual). What a terrible business model and work ethic CCleaner has.
  16. I received a cryptic response from the Admin. I sent the log file by PM but he replied back to send my emai. However, I'm not a mind reader. He didn't tell me the email address. This is exactly why we have issues with Ccleaner, these folks have a different mindset than most people #frustrating
  17. I wasn't given an email address so I wasn't able to send the log file.
  18. I have replicated the issue in Win 7 64bit, It's NOT a Chrome problem, but a CCleaner problem.
  19. How do I do this when CCleaner is saved/installed on D drive? And how to send the log file to you? Don't tell me you want us to post it in the forum? Perhaps add a feature in CCleaner that automatically creates a debug file without having to use the command prompt?
  20. My Ccleaner is installed on my D drive. I don't know how to do this from there. Perhaps add a feature to CCleaner to send/create debug files?
  21. I don't really have time for this right now. I'm using Chrome in incognito to prevent cookies from being saved. When I have some time and I notice the cookies aren't being cleaned, I'll do the same. In the interim, hopefully @Haapy's log will be helpful. You (CCleaner) can also replicate this on your own. i have already mentioned which popular websites' cookies remain.
  22. I created a separate thread before seeing yours. I noticed this issue too. Yet CCleaner brags in their latest releasae notes: Better cleaning We’ve improved Microsoft Edge Chromium cache cleaning We’ve added new cleaning for Windows Event Trace Log (ETL) files Chrome was updated back on November 15. CCleaner on Nov 16. So they had almost a month to fix this. Instead, they remain silent which is the typical response these days.
