  1. Tried using both full defrag and quick defrag. But still the same, Defraggler will not move the files I added eg. mov, mpeg, avi, tar, rar, etc files to the end of the drive. I have the selection to files larger than 50 MB yet it still allocates the files to the mid to mid/first part of the drive. The only way Defraggler allocates designated files to the end of the drive is if I select a particular block and then select to the end of the drive.
  2. Nonsense. I just installed 2.11 and the cookies are not there. I downgraded from the latest 2.14 because the cookies WERE there. I dont have chrome installed, but I did at one point and the directory is not present. Safari is present but no cookies stored, Opera present, no cookies stored. There is a problem with CCleaner. period. i am running windows xp sp3.
  3. I got rid of it....I used smartyinstaller again and this time I downloaded an even older version: 2.10.618 It works, give it a try and let me know.
  4. thanks. But the program files directory was removed including the two registry entries by smartyuninstaller yet my CCleaner settings were in tact. I'm thinking there must be another file or directory hiding elsewhere? I checked Application data but I didn't find any. I'll try Revouninstaller. Thx.
  5. As posted previously without any solution or advice, I thought I would try uninstalling CCleaner completely. I ran smartyuninstaller to cleanup any obvious registry entries. Unfortunaty, CCleaner wasn't fully uninstalled because when I went to install it again, my previous settings were already there. Where are the settings kept? I want to remove all traces of CCleaner because for some reason it falsely shows cookies as being present even after cleaning and it shows up in the to be cleaned section.
  6. This is new. I have the latest CCleaner running XP Pro. I never had this problem until recently. I check my cookies in CCleaner and while I do have some that I always keep, CCleaner reports about 6 that are there even after cleaning. I checked with a 3rd party cookie cleaner and the cookies aren't there. Anyone else have this issue?
