  1. Which do you guys think is better? I've been using VLC for ages, since I feel it has better windows support, but I have had to use MPlayer on several occasions for playback of certain file types. Should I dump VLC for MPlayer? What do you guys use for media players?
  2. There are two lists, CCleaner will only delete the ones in the left hand list (assuming by 'set up to save' you mean you moved cookies into the right hand list.)
  3. It could very well mean that there are no errors CCleaners registry cleaner is a "safe" cleaner, in that while it may return fewer results than some others, its more likely you can remove them with no issues thats not to say always, so be sure to make backups.
  4. This is already in winapp2.ini [~mIRC]LangSecRef=3022Detect=HKCU\Software\mIRC\Default=TrueDectectFile=%ProgramFiles%\mirc\mIRC.exeFilekey1=%ProgramFiles%\mirc\logs\|*.* Just add that to a text file and save as winapp2.ini in your CCleaner directory
  5. I love grandkids, they taste so good!
  6. You could just add it to the custom files/folders or add a winapp2.ini entry?
  7. i had this one about a year ago! xD
  8. They seem to be related to some anti virus program or another, says a quick google search. I'd say tick them and back them up and clean them, if theres a problem just restore them (I think the registry cleaner needs an ignore list, tbh.)
  9. probably because you had the temp files box ticked
  10. Honestly, you shouldn't expect to be able to play a pirated game online anyway.
  11. Wiping the free space overwrites it all with a series of 1's and 0's (or a blank file, or something else) because when you "delete" a file, its' just marked as useable space for the operation system. The reason that it says all your space is used is because its' at 100%, and is in the process of deleting the blank files it just wrote. I wouldn't recommend using your computer while free space is wiped, to be honest.
  12. Third and final edit: made this with it [~Eusing Free Registry Cleaner Backups]LangSecRef=3024DetectFile=C:\Program Files\Eusing Free Registry Cleaner\Regcleaner.exeDefault=FalseFileKey1=C:\Program Files\Eusing Free Registry Cleaner\Backup|*.*| seems to work just fine, and took a lot less time than it would have taken for me to write that out, so thanks!
  13. The only thing I could suggest is you un-tick the Windows Live Messenger box in the Applications tab, this don't seem like a CCleaner issue though. Did you run CCleaner while windows live was open? If you did, try closing it, running CCleaner (with the box ticked) and then re-opening windows live, I've incurred weird issues with Pidgin if I run the pidgin option while its open. (I don't know what exactly the windows live option cleans, but if its the display pictures then its basically the same as my pidgin option)
  14. at ten? I have sleep issues and don't really sleep, but I wouldn't even attempt at 10:17
  15. Its just me, AJ and some bots http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g59/kens...910/lolbots.png
  16. "Royale Remixed: Noir" its on Deviant Art, its' basically a finished version of Royale Noir.
  17. I love choco-cornets so Konata-chan made me happy.
  18. Stupid wireless. Heres one with me being wired bit of a performance increase wired. odd, the ping went up.
  19. Thanks for the help! I do have some very large files, so NTFS is definately the way to go. I'd go Ext3 if possible but the windows drivers for it arent too good.
  20. odd http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g59/kens...193910/ntfs.png I've several computers running Vista/7 if need be as well; but I've heard its better to format it NTFS. (Confirm/deny?)
  21. I just bought a new external harddrive (1.5TB, I payed 20$ more to see "TB" instead of 930GB or whatever 1000^3 is in terms of GB, darn manufacturers TB..;P) It came with some junk on it I dont want but more importantly; in FAT32, Should I format it to NTFS or leave it as FAT32?
  22. I don't believe in "too soon" existing on the internet, personally.
