Okay so I just installed Avira AntiVir Personal(Free) Edition. But I have never used Avira before, so I was thinking you guys might know the best settings. So if you know the best settings for Avira, please help me and thanks alot!
1. Right click the icon > start antivir > choose configuration
2. check expert mode
3. go to Scanner > scan > check all files.In additional, check search for rootkit before scan.let scan heuristic mode by default
4. go to Guard > scan > check scan when reading and writing & all files.guard scan heuristic by default.
5. go to General > extended threat categories > select all.
done.

CCleaner, HostsMan, Auslogics Disk Defrag, Smart Defrag, and Spyware Blaster.(Also AVG). Is Avira Free version better then AVG Paid Version?
Avira free has better detections rate than AVG (free or paid)

Okay so I am almost done getting software. I will switch to Avira Free once AVG subscription is finished. But one final thing...
Is Auslogics Disk Defrag(deletes temp. files before defrag), or is Smart Defrag(Fast Optimize option) better?I need help picking one.
for daily basis, I use Auslogics after run ccleaner while Smart Defrag still running in background.
I run SmatDefrag with Fast optimize,weekly

I wonder if Online Armor in position #1 is exactly the same as Online Armor in position #6. The names and the version #s are identical except for "free" being added to description in position #6.
If they are identical, wonder why the difference in ratings.

The newest Chromium version has that in the Options >> Personal Stuff, and there's a Themes section in it, and if you click on the Get Themes button, it leads you to that site.

Anyone have any suggestions how I can locate the downloaded (but uninstalled) IE8 on my system in case I want to remove it?
Go to Add/Remove Program > scroll down and find IE8 > Remove
It will roll back to previous version IE
I have IE8 and running well.No problem at all.

I download the images from my trailcam flash memory and keep the folders in Picasa so I can share them. But I give the folders a different name daily, e.g. Deer802. I actually prefer to download them with the Picture and Fax Viewer but it keeps a list of every folder I've used. I'd like to remove the entries as I use them but can't find the program. Thank You!

Foxit is VERY good and lightweight, and your second question, flash viewer? you mean flash player? There is silverlight, by Microsoft, but flash is more widely used.

I found out that I have M.Net framework: 2 service pack 2, 3 service pack 2,and 3.5 sp1.
Question: Should I delete the firs two? or leave it there?
