  1. It would be nice to see a dedicated area for "post tests" such as adding screenshots, posting links etc. so posters could try out these skills without feeling they might mess up a thread. Quite a few other forums have them.

  2. Open winapp.ini (not winapp2.ini) and search for Ewido, then paste this as the last line:

    FileKey3=%ProgramFiles%\ewido anti-spyware 4.0|logfile.txt

    Thank you Andavari, I have done that.

  3. Hello Normandie,

    Just had a look and my ewido is listed under untilities in applications,, but as anti-malware. ( I did uninstall 3.5 first and use ccleaner issues)

    As you know it's now ewido ant-spyware, so I'm not sure which one is listed in mine!

  4. Slowday,

    I also bought ewido, I went here -

    http://www.ewido.net/en/upgrade

    typed in my licence key for version 3.5 and a new key is issued straight away ( not e-mailed so save this one somewhere safe)

    IT IS A FREE UPGRADE for licence key holders and apparently if you are due for renewal do it soon as there is an offer on for renewals.

    I think you will have to e-mail ewido now as the old link for the key number reminder seems to have gone.

    Peter ewido said it is best to uninstall old versions including beta first and reboot (and use ccleaner of course!) before installing new version.

    My scans seem faster than the old version and the interface is good, I

    am pleased with it anyway, quite a few new features.

  5. I had some e-mail picures from yesterday which I opened just now. I have been online today.

    When I clicked on the attachments they opened in windows fax and picture viewer ( normal until I put them in Picasa) I clicked past the last picture and was interested to see Eldmannen's golf ball. Also Tony Klein's avatar and lots and lots of gifs. All that I had seen online today I guess, all in the window fax and picture viewer.
