  1. Wasn't it a British architect that designed the Millennium Bridge? You know, the one they nicknamed Wobbly Bridge.

Sniper, it wasn't a design flaw, it was a design implementation to test peoples sense of balance.

  2. Also if you right-click on the my computer icon, choose properties, hardware, device manager, click+ sign next to display adapters, right click on your card, choose properties and look at the driver tab also for the those details.

  3. It didn't put any logo's or anything on mine Aaron.

I have found it best to start it and then go to bed and find it done in the morning. The iso burning only takes 5-10 minutes as opposed to the hours it takes to transcode.

Just remember to follow the instructions in the guides! Good luck!

  4. Yes, after the download of Avi2dvd and Decrypter, just follow the guide. Don't do anything at all while it is transcoding and make sure your screensaver doesn't come on.

You can give your iso a name such as "party" or whatever, to make it obvious.

Try following the guide carefully Aaron, I'm sure with your capabilities you'll do it.

  5. That's the reason I printed off the user guide aaron!! So I would know these things. :)

It will ask you where you want the iso file stored before you start convertion, BUT remember no matter which output folder you choose to store it in, a folder called Av2dvd.temp will be created in it.

You did remember to check " make iso" ?

  6. I thought I'd try out the Avi2Dvd free software for converting some avi files I had which I wanted to watch on TV instead of the computer, and was very surprised at the good results I got with it.

I used the guide here ( very easy to follow) which I printed off.

One thing I was a bit unsure about was the aspect ratio of the TV. I'm still a bit puzzled as I tried both settings 4:3 and 16:9 and cannot see much difference

Also I know Decrypter has been overtaken, but it always works on my machine and if it's not broken, I'm not going to fix it!

Just thought I'd share my thoughts on this software with you.

    P.S My files are legal.

  7. I think there is a lesson here gentlemen, some people like one thing and some like another.

This always has, is, and will be the case.

Agree to differ and move on!! :)
