May be helpful for some people to see which version they are using, and also to see if javascript is working

I would suggest you do a hijackthis log.
Download from here
http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en-US/to...ools/hijackthis
Choose scan and save a log file, it will open in notepad when done. Copy and paste it into a post in the hijackthis log analysis part of the forum.

Here is a list of the tests and results.

Online Armor now passes the only test it failed on, so is in equal 1st place.

As I don't use eraser so I have no idea as to why this happens to you.
As you got no answers from the other forums I was just trying to get some ideas for you to work with based on the 2 things that you mentioned that were in the folder Random junk things you called them.
One was refered to in a link from google as being part of windows blinds, the other, msaatext.dll, I think refers to this
http://www.greatis.com/delphicb/winevent/
What were the others?
Or you could try reinstalling eraser to see what happens then.

Brown sugar, it may be an idea for you to ask a few question at the OA forums, answers are quick

A discussion on the free version can be found here
http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=187975
I use the paid version and in advanced it has lots of features (apart from ease of use!) One which isn't mentioned much is 'run safer'. You can apply this to what you will and it does the same as DropMyRights. This feature is also available in the free version
I can also import blacklists, block by country etc etc.
I like it a lot, but I'm a bit biased as I've been beta testing it.

Do you use windows blinds, as if you google BLOCK.WB4 this is one of the hits.

Jen is there an option in Windows Defender such as tools >options>advanced options that lets you exclude things or allow them?
-
Try right clicking the CCleaner icon on the desktop and choose run as administrator.

Why discuss another thread in this one and put the same link in each? It's pointless.
-
Yes I know that, but I research what I put on my computer, I don't want to have to go somewhere afterwards to find out I shouldn't have put it on in the first place!
-
Please don't double post ishan, you have already posted this link in another thread.
I also think that it won't be a site I might use to see what was on my computer.
-
Brenda, if it's of any help to you at all I have 36 running processes at the moment and will not be looking to lower it.
My computer works okay, so there you go
-
Yeah but you have to really know what you're doing..i messed up my pc
Yes Brenda that is right, but be positive, you have learnt a lot from this.
Mistakes are just learning curves in life

CCleaner is free, you do not pay for it.

Have you tried safe mode Tom?

Just had to unlock my old nokia from the old service provider. Used this site to get the code free. It worked.
(notice I said unlock, not unblock which means it's had a stop put on it because it probably been stolen)

Just in case your file association for .reg files is mixed up, you could always try the reg file association fix listed here.

Secure Delete doesn't work

I use a hosts file, I don't see a single ad.
I will say it again, CCleaner is free in the sense that no money is required from you in order to run the program.
I do not begrudge the CCleaner owners the right to try and raise revenue in order to provide me, and you, and every other user with a free program.
