Is there a freeware which serves every region (Without affecting the region change quota in winxp) ?? which can decrypt, copy and burn as well as erase?? I currenlty use Nero but find it a bit too slow.. Further, would any1 be aware of a good freeware to copy entire movie to the hard drive (not ISO) many thanks! in anticipation

HKEY LOCAL MACHINE\CURRENT CONTROL SET\SESSION MANAGER\MEMOMRY MANAGEMENT\PREFETCH PARAMETERS\ENABLE PREFETCHER ( double click this and click on decimal and then enter 5 , thats it press enter and get out of regedit all together ...

good one , try increasing your tcp window size, will help heaps if youre on broadband considering you've set your mtu =1500, mss should be mtu-40= 1460 *44 and scale it to ^2 = 128480 if thats good, you wanna scale it by^4 = 256960 see which works best for you... ( I want to regedit manually , although I did start out with TCP Optimiser)

Hi Davey, Yep! gotta keep those files hidden from little people in the house... Nope! no hidden files on my machine, didn't have this problem with the very same version but now after I tweaked my registry for TCP/IP it doesn't seem to have gone down too well with this program! ( really has no connection ) Wish someone can help with the .sol extension(as regards regedit) which the Yahoo Sign in Seal uses coz I've included the Macromedia flash file folder where the logincache file ( the yahoo seal) is stored to the EXCLIDE from deletion setting in Cleaner options and it didn't help someone from Piriform??? anyone??

there is no .ini file that I can see in Program Files\CCleaner .......apart from the ones I've listed above ... I even checked Windows files to see if its sitting there and couldn't find it .... have I got this latest version 2.03 working right?? apparently not!

there is a winreg, winsys, winapi, history log file , CCleaner configuration ... which one did you mean to be the CCleaner.ini?? pls...

Just a thought, and this would really help , where would you think yahoo seal or local settings for the same be found in the registry ? I could look up regedit and double check to see if alls in order... ta

thanks did check both of the above and that doesn't seem to be the problem.... checked all other files within the program and found no mention of ini settings neither ? ( is that normal ??)

Hi still new to this .... could someone be kind to explain how I can get .ini ( after checking the box ) to do its job in saving settings... I keep losing the yahoo seal and have to reset it on my pc every time i start .. ta

any practical advantage between Avant and Maxthon browser atall?? ( question to anybody who uses one and has tried the other before ..) What are the security issues?? IE7 has security updates, apart from the fact that cumulative updates are really gonna bloat this browser over time.... if not as it is! Would CCleaner be able to handle other browsers like AVant and Maxthon?? if so how could I clear the temp and dat files as in the IE case ....
