  4. why do people roast cat?
  5. then should i use v6? or stick with v5? since both are design to include windows XP
  6. lol... i mean eraser from http://www.heidi.ie/
  7. which eraser are you refering to...?
  8. anyway, each shortcut created (it apply to any file also...) takes up at least 4.00 KB (4,096 bytes) of hard disk space no matter how big the file size is... well.. maybe is not a lot that much... so... 1 file = 4kb... then 10 files will be 4x10 = 40kb... then 100 files will be 4x100 = 400kb... then 1000 files will be 4x1000 = 4000kb...
  9. yes... but will slow down performance (i believe so...)... just put the necessary icons that you need to access quickly on the desktop... if you are using Windows XP, you can pin application shortcuts to the start menu... you can also add shortcuts to quick-launch...
  10. why are there so many version...?
  11. i am not certain about this... it depend what and how they calculate... but minimum amount of RAM size to have should be at least 256MB (in my opinion)... it depend on the usage of the system actually... if 256MB can meet your requirement... then upgrade to 256MB as desire... defragment your hard disk too!
  12. thanks DjLizard for your explaination... beside the amount of RAM, some other issues might slow down your computer system... like having malware crawling around in your system... lesser hard disk space... fragmented files...and even some system configuration can slow down system performance... there are just too many issues about it... well... i think you might want to ask Compaq themselves... actually depend on the usage of the system... if you are using a lot of high end programs, such as graphic editing, 3D graphic editing, you might want to get more RAM... even up to giga-byte... but i recommend having 512MB of RAM if running Windows XP machine... but is really up to you... but before you get any additional RAM, make sure you know the maximum amount of RAM (and the maximum size) your main board can support...

  17. dowload from: http://www.microsoft.com/products/expression/ i meant Creature House Expressions might be the program itself but change of codename... not very sure... maybe DjLizard can explain on this... apologies for the confusion...
  18. guess it doesnt matter... i think it is another image editing program... or maybe is this program itself... my does... right click a *.jpg/*.jpeg file and "open with..." and select the program... or launch the program and open the file in the program itself...

  21. i do... and i depend on firefox for very long... currently trying avant... because sometimes i need to use internet explorer to view some websites (including my school website)... and cannot stand internet explorer without tabbed browsing... so currently using a "version" of internet explorer that allow tabbed browsing... if satisfy with avant then i will use it whenever i need to view these sites... then switch back to firefox for normal day to day browsing...
