  3. Hi Humpty I copied some smiley links from AndyManchesta's site, and tried to past them in a post (as per Andy's directions) he doe's mention (image tags?) Example: http://andymanchesta.com/ICONS/1%20(258).gif I think I just worked it out I clicked on the link in this post and the (gif) was displayed. 10. Hi Vince Vega I use Norton AV 2007 and get regular updates with no problems, however after my subscription "expires" I will consider an alternative AV product. Norton free trail software is not worth the effort in my opinion, ditch it! Windows XP Firewall works good for me (Incoming) protection only, I tried (Zone Alarm) and it drove me Crazy I also use Sandboxie & Spybot S&D

  13. Hi all My parents just got a new PC and I want to recommend some safe easy to use (navigate) websites that they might find interesting.
  14. I have to agree with Dennis Some people say that I'm easily amused, well I was for about 9 seconds
  15. Basically you are getting a chance to see what issues will be fixed "removed" and you have the option of a backup file being created. Some people like to see scan results "explanations"
  16. Hi jjsan1 Some things wont be cleaned (removed) while Windows is running, they will if you restart your computer. The Information below is from the "Beginners Guide" for CCleaner, it's well worth reading the whole guide Delete Index.dat files Although essentially undocumented by Microsoft there are several hidden files, all with the filename index.dat that reside in directories on your system. These permanently cache website addresses and cookies from sites you have visited. This list is never deleted and gradually increases in size, resulting in IE slowing down. Selecting this option will mark these files for deletion the next time your computer is rebooted. (Unfortunately these files cannot be deleted immediately as they are permanently in use by the operating system.)
  17. Reminds me of "Origami" the art of paper folding , I'd like to see them make a sailboat out of a t-shirt
