  3. I agree 100% with you, those sites are ad ridden but I can assure you that the actual exe's are clean. I personally examined the program from the first link, the second is by far the most popular. The first one tends to compile the newer versions first though. Edit: LINK to SiteAdvisor page for first site (ignore the very first comment...)
  4. Well this has taken an interesting turn... edit: http://limewirepro.at.tt/ or http://www.freelimewirepro.net/ if you want Limewire Pro. No reason really to use the free version.
  5. basically Frostwire is a rehash of the Limewire pro source code. It has it's pluses and minuses. I personally would choose fw over lw free/pro anyday.

    A Question

You could just delete everything on the hard drive you removed and then tell them it was corrupted by the surge.
  16. Anybody know where to get a high resolution CCleaner icon or png?
  17. hmm, i'll look into firefox to see if it is causing my problems.
  18. oh man back when I had ZA installed and downloaded something big with utorrent it would lock up and everything would stop. BTW- Peerguardian 2 is not really the best at blocking ads, spyware, etc. it is really to block people like the MPAA, RIAA, HBO etc. from connecting with you. The other features of peerguardian is just to keep the anti-P2P companies from trying to shut them down. If you have a hardware firewall and are not concerned about malware being run on your computer, it will be fine to unninstall ZoneAlarm and just enable the windoze firewall.
