It depends.... if you are running SETI or something that uses CPU usage.... then you comp might overheat.... However, I do believe there is a "hibernation mode" that shuts down the HD and practically everything else.... it can also "boot instantly" although I'm not entirely sure how to do it...

Anyway this thread should be closed... it's only helping Tarun's goal of achieving world domination
