Hmm Posted August 4, 2023 Author Share Posted August 4, 2023 Just an update. I realized what's going on. I unticked IE for cleaning to speed up the process. I went ahead and enabled the settings for IE cleaning (there's no IE in Windows 11) and now it's cleaning fine. But if I run analyze again, this nasty file keeps on being shown and like a Zombie, you can kill it but it keeps coming back: --- C:\Users\MYPC\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache\Low\SuggestedSites.dat 5,121 KB Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The new file is empty of suggested sites , when, previous to clean, it may have contained suggested sites ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
