imaginist1 Posted August 8, 2020 Share Posted August 8, 2020 I upgraded to CCleaner Pro and after installing on my Mac, not all of the features and functions are available. Preferences is grayed out. ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. Being a different operating system environment, the Mac version and the Windows version of CCleaner have a number of differences (and both are, in turn, different from the Android version). Or is it just that the Windows version of CCleaner has more functionality, and the Mac version of CCleaner Pro doesn't offer much more than the free version? Because if I paid $20 to upgrade to the equivalent of the free version, then it seems obvious the money wasn't worth it.
