Could not locate uninstaller in 1.30.310

Hi--I just installed version 1.30.310 b/c I'd read it could help me uninstall WGA (a pilot version that MSFT says can have its notifications disabled).

However, when I choose tools/uninstall, though Windows Genuine Advantage shows up in the list, when I select "Run Uninstaller" I get a message that says "Could locate uninstaller".

For the record, I have a legitimate version of XP Pro. I just hate MSFT's intrusiveness.

I would appreciate any useful suggestions about this problem.

Thanks!

Hello tornadox

I do not believe that CCleaner has that ability, but you can refer to this thread which might provide you with what you are looking for RemoveWGA 1.1.

Let me know if that is what you're looking for. :)
