billiam904 0
I attempted to wipe the free space on my SSD drive and got a message warning me that it could damage the SSD drive. Do you have any suggestions for wiping the free space or files on an SSD drive?
trium 0
hello billiam904, the only that i could tell you --> if you dont want to sell your SSD, then omit this action. if yet, use the 1x
ccw62 0
Thing is that whilst using Recuva - deleted files can : either be recovered or if not (trim, carbage collection) one can see the filenames and knows what they are about - even though they may not be recovered. Running Wipe Free Space would theoretically result in filenames like ZZZZZZZZ etc. at least this is the case with HDDs. Admittedly, I haven't run Wipe Free Space on my SSDs sofar. ccw62 0
Oh, btw, can one safely use Eraser to wipe files on SSD's or wipe the recycle.bin?
Moderators Andavari 1 Posted December 21, 2015 Moderators Share Posted December 21, 2015 Oh, btw, can one safely use Eraser Eraser the software? If you're asking about Eraser that's best done on their forums/discussion boards as this is the Piriform forums for Piriform software.
