Moderators DennisD Posted August 19, 2009 Moderators Share Posted August 19, 2009 Before reading that, I might have agreed with the blogger, but then again I might not have. Have to watch what we say.
Glenn
I think I largely agree with the opinion in this artcle Skanks for the Memories I believe in freedom of speech, and the courts will decide if the post was defamatory, but I don't think there's a right to anonymity. Moderators Andavari Posted August 20, 2009 Moderators Share Posted August 20, 2009 Have to watch what we say. Damn it, I think you're right. I think though they're only taking it serious after cases like the MySpace incident when some young girl was cyber-bullied and committed suicide. Strange world for people to get so super upset about mere words, it isn't like they were physically punched in the nose.
mps69_1999
Looks like the fightback has began already, with baywords, from the guys who run the pirate bay site. Good on them I say. My Webpage Googletalk
Moderators Andavari Posted August 20, 2009 Moderators Share Posted August 20, 2009 Censorship is really of no surprise to me, many experts have said for many years that even the U.S. is becoming a closed society.
Corona
Gee, what could make you think of that (cough-Obama,Pelosi,Reid,Giethner,Axelrod,Emanuel-cough)?
Moderators Andavari Posted August 22, 2009 Moderators Share Posted August 22, 2009 Gee, what could make you think of that (cough-Obama,Pelosi,Reid,Giethner,Axelrod,Emanuel-cough)? Those aren't my own thoughts, there's several "experts" that have outlined the changes that have been happening over the past decade or perhaps longer. The worst accusation was a woman who is an author with a documentary and U.S. citizen stating the U.S. is becoming like Nazi Germany.
