Humpty
There are a few rogue security apps out there that match or closely match the names of decent apps. Below are some sites that you should never download from as they are ripoffs.

Moderators hazelnut Posted March 7, 2009 Moderators Share Posted March 7, 2009 Don't those sites look professionally designed. Things are getting harder out there. Good post humpty, if it stops just one user from being tricked by them it will have been worth the post. Moderators Andavari Posted March 7, 2009 Moderators Share Posted March 7, 2009 Definitely will trick some people. I find it amazing they're now using the venerable PC user in their adverts as a picture to make it look all the more "user friendly." My rule of thumb is if I've never heard of it before I'm already suspicious of it, and it helps to look on legit download sites like FileHippo.com, Download.com, and Softpedia.com, etc., for any information, user reviews, or staff reviews.
