arjun5
I installed CCleaner yesterday and ran the Cleaner and Registry fix. Subsequently, when I go to outlook, I am unable to see anything in my Sent mail folder. All other folders are ok. Mail is still being sent, but shows in Outbox despite it being sent. I use AOL through Microsoft Outlook and have not had any problems before. Not sure what happened. Can anybody help? Thanks.
Moderators Nergal Posted December 11, 2008 Moderators Share Posted December 11, 2008 Did you make a backup of the reg entries you deleted? I'm guessing you let it delete something along the lines of HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\MailFileAtt HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\mapifvbx.object HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\mapifvbx.object.1 or something else that is needed. Please read my signature ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. Moderators hazelnut Posted December 12, 2008 Moderators Share Posted December 12, 2008 If you accepted the prompt to make a backup of the registry entries you were going to delete using the registry cleaner, now would be a good time to restore them. They are kept by default in ''my documents'', right-click and choose merge.
