High CPU Usage with menu items

[*]Fixed bug with context menus and excessive CPU usage.

Unless that means something else, then the issue is not fixed.

This bug was introduced in the previous 2.13.270 version of CCleaner, as per changes below.

- Added right-click cleaning and analysis for individual items in the tree.

- Added icons to tree parent items.

The issue is due to either one, or both, of these changes.

When click-holding on any menu item, be it Cleaner or Registry, whether left or right clicking, CPU usage shoots to 100% for a single core (as CCleaner is not multi threaded). It stays this way until you depress the mouse button.

I never reported it when the previous build was released, but seeing as it's not fixed in 2.14.750 (when I assumed the above bugfix corrected it), I am now reporting it.

Sorry I don't see it.

seems to work for me in-fact the context menu (analyze {ENTRYNAME} Clean {ENTRYNAME}

1) does not even open until I release the Mouse Button

2) (at least for me) does not even exist in the reg section (nor do I believe it is supposed to nor do I think it should be included as this would very VERY unsafe IMNSHBVEO)

may be referring to the shell context menus which I cannot speak on as I don't use them (it would defeat my having a portable version) :)

ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION

DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.

Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)

ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.

What is the operating system and CPU type and speed that you are using?

Hey, I get this! Click-hold on the menu items and the cpu holds at around 50% on both split-cores (I have one of those hyper-threaded P4 cpus). I've never noticed that before. It's no great problem but it definitely happens. I'm XPSP2 Home by the way, 3 gb cpu.

As of build 2.16.830 the issue is resolved.

I cannot seem to edit the topic menu to add "[Resolved]" to the title. If a mod could do so for me, or delete the thread, that would be great. (Not sure how fixed bugs are dealt with.)
