davey
Does the program target duplicate files for removal? Hi Foxy, CCleaner does not look for any duplicate files specifically. If they happen to be in areas specified for cleaning then they would be deleted just as any other file. Welcome to the forums. Moderators Andavari Posted September 23, 2008 Moderators Share Posted September 23, 2008 Looking for duplicate files can be very risky, and I hope CCleaner never gains that feature personally. If you use any other software that can find and remove duplicate files I surely hope you make a full system backup first, especially if things found are DLL files, and other operating system related files, or your Windows functionality may cease to function.
