Icedrake
As Andavari said, Recuva. It can recover anything(for me).
Moderators Augeas Posted April 18, 2008 Moderators Share Posted April 18, 2008 On a formatted drive? With no or a new MFT? If the formatting process reallocates the MFT, or wipes all the old entries, then I think that Recuva will not have a great deal of luck. I don't think that popular software applications will be able to help. There are specialist firms that will do this, but it is expensive. Let me know if I'm wrong, which I'll be quite happy with, and I'll rethink how Recuva works!

However if the data is that important that's the best solution for the best recovery.
