Should be a separate entry? Audio\PolicyConfig [Audio Policy Config Cache*] LangSecRef=3025 Warning=May Reset user set Volume levels. Detect=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\LowRegistry\Audio Default=False RegKey1=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\LowRegistry\Audio\PolicyConfig\PropertyStore Doesn't reset the volume levels when cleared for me. Wonder if it depends on the Audio driver? I have WIn7 Pro and a realtek audio driver. and a soundmax integrated driver on a laptop.

If this works for someone else without resetting there preferences, this could be added to opera more. FileKey6=%AppData%\Opera\Opera|*.dat Cleaning those 9.dats listed in the link hasn't changed any of my settings and are recreated upon launching opera. http://my.opera.com/community/forums/topic.dml?id=932402&t=1330746638&page=1#comment8866382 Opera is my secondary browser so most of my settings are still default.

might need to split this up in multiple entries. The CBS logs are already cleaned. and I don't think the .log's in system32/config should be tampered with. These are what it would clean for me http://pastebin.com/r8t9qA5K

I believe IE9 can be cleaned while still running, I analyzed with IE9 open and closed and had the same files detected for deletion. But same no "Close Browser" Popup edit: http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?showtopic=35243&view=findpost&p=210910

It pops up when you analyze or clean while having a browser still open.

Nice I had a hunch that Detects would be faster, less searching through folders/files.

New Entry [Windows Sticky Notes Cache*] LangSecRef=3021 Warning=Selecting this will also delete all sticky notes currently in use. DetectFile=%AppData%\Microsoft\Sticky Notes Default=False FileKey1=%AppData%\Microsoft\Sticky Notes|*.snt Recreates when a new sticky note is made in Win7, But will clear sticky notes in use so I added the warning Needs testing in Vista
-
The file you're looking for is StickyNotes.snt (Sticky.snt in vista) located in C:\Users\"username"\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Sticky Notes\ StickyNotes.snt can be deleted safely as it'll be recreated next time you make a sticky note. But removing StickyNotes.snt will also remove any sticky notes you are currerntly using. As for the secure deleting of it see http://www.piriform....leaner-settings You can add Stickynotes.snt to the include list in Ccleaner by going to Options - Include - Add File - C:\Users\"username"\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Sticky Notes\StickyNotes.snt Then in the cleaner right click "Custom Files and Folders" under Advanced and click Clean

How about @echo off taskkill /f /IM explorer.exe cd C:\Program Files\CCleaner\ ccleaner.exe /AUTO explorer.exe

As is, it's removing the key and subkeys on win7 and just the subkeys in winxp for me. With it just recreating the Key and subkeys of Exts when I open a ext type. After changing it to RegKey1=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer|FileExts it regenerated the whole entire list edit. the |FileExts didn't work. The list was regenerated when I task killed explorer and restarted it.
