  1. For the next 1.0.x builds you have to look in this directory. It's the 1.0.4 beta. Now, as for the 1.0+ (aka 1.1 beta), you'd have to look in this directory. Also... Run Firefox and type 'about:config' in the location bar. Right-click on the main content area. Select New Select Integer [*]Enter the preference name 'browser.sessionhistory.max_viewers' and click OK. [*]Enter '5' and click OK. [*]Restart Firefox.
  2. Duplicate post, oops. :\
  3. lol it's okay. It's happened a few times. No biggie.

You can use MsConfig to disable those that you don't need actively running and also remove them from Start > Programs > Startup folder. The system is clean of any malware that I can see. Try closing down a lot of applications. Also go to MSConfig and uncheck all in Startup, then see if the system still doesn't shutdown, etc.
  5. Not available at this time.
  6. With having a tech support hobby (and potential future job) I steadily grew tired of constantly having to write out what to do. I decided to make an application where I could simply paste or import HijackThis logs and convert them to BBCode or HTML. This does not have a whitelist at this time but it has been suggested and I will try to implement one. After all, this is my first Delphi based application as I move away from Visual Basic 6. Oh, also; the Windows XP theme in use is the Luna Element theme. HijackThis log tab: BBCode tab: HTML tab: Questions? Comments? Suggestions? This software is NOT available for download. Do NOT send me a PM asking for it or I will either ignore you, or post it so everyone will laugh.
  7. Maybe it's cause I've been using Firefox 1.0.4. I just switched to 1.0+ (the future 1.1) and both have been loading in under 2 seconds. Even on my old machine they did. Maybe it was some tweaks?
  8. Spybot should be in the list. Defrag: PerfectDisk 7 Firewall: Outpost Pro.
  9. I'm not going through and manually saving 8 pages worth. Btw, it's Tarun.
  10. Firefox loads in less than two seconds if optimized properly. No preloaders needed.
  11. Check to see if it's set to automatically close when finished. If it's not that. Uncheck everything in the Applications tab and run it. If it still has the problem, it's within the Windows tab. Uncheck everything in the Windows tab and let it clean the Applications tab. This will help to find where the problem is occuring.
  12. I'd prefer it stay open, as there are good convos in here and everything. I'd just hate to see it deleted.

    Computer humor

I got this as an e-mail from my fianc?e's mom, it still cracks me up.
  14. You apparently never tried PerfectDisk. It owns all.
  15. No, but if you look I believe it expires in 2038. Yep, it does. Prefs are 2015 and the other says, Sunday, January 17, 2038 2:14:09 PM
  16. Ever seen the Google cookie? There was also something about how Google blocks things, like if you were to search for Iraqi prisoner abuse pictures on Google and Yahoo, Google wouldn't show them, Yahoo would.
  17. The end... ...of Google! Hurrah!
  18. Surprising no one just said to lock it.
  19. Down for a whole ten minutes. LOL!
  20. Yep, I agreed with you on another post and even stated reasons as to why it is rather annoying.
  21. Can you please not post your replies in between the BBCode quote format?
  22. Start, Run, IPConfig /flushdns right? Googlebot is even on this forum right now.
  23. I believe my firewall makes a temp file and actively uses it for logging activity.
