  1. I think I've seen Springsteen each time he's been to this country since 1981, including the Seeger sessions tour last year. That was different but still fun. He played a few 'normal' Springsteen songs alongside the country stuff.

Edit: I missed him once. As part of the Ghost of Tom Joad tour he played very small 'intimate' venues. He came to Manchester and played a place called the Apollo Theatre. It sold out instantly and I couldn't afford the black market prices. :(

  2. ok I have three.

1= Bruce Springsteen at Bingley Hall Staffordshire , way back in 1981. Btw Bingley hall may sound posh but it was actually a converted cow shed in the middle of a farm.

2= Springsteen again at Roundhay Park, Leeds, as part of the Born in the USA tour in 1985.

3= Bob Dylan at Wembley London in October 1987. This was a memorable evening, not only for Dylan. This was the night of the Great Storm. The whole country was blown to pieces, over 15 million trees were torn up. I'm sure every Briit on this board remembers that night.

  3. rridgely, where did you get that pic? Did you draw it yourself ? I might print that out and take it down to the local nick. (police station).

Tell them thats who did my car.

    :)

 He got it from my wikipedia link.

@ Andavari, the thing with chavs over here is that they seem to regard ignorance and stupidity as something to be aspired to. Almost like badges of honour.

  4. Pretty cool, I didn't know that. :)

I think it scans when you install it right?

Yes I think it scans automatically, in the background, on install. After that you can run it whenever you like via Start. Run> mrt.

Don't know if it's any good though.

  5. IDK... if you people ever heard about what happen at Wendy's a few years back. A lady found a finger in her Chili or something like that if I recall correctly. Supposedly a worker cut her finger and didn't somehow realize... the finger got mixed in with the chili <_<

She should have been charged extra for the added protein.

  6. Hi Cowboy, I'm glad you got everything sorted out . I have to agree with you though, Java and java flash are unnecessarily complicated. Until I came to this site I kept older versions of java on my system. These should be deleted. Go to control panel Add/ Remove and remove any old versions of Java other than the latest update.

All the best, as always, Woody.

  7. Hi Dave, welcome to the forum :)

Just the simple act of visiting a website will put a cookie on your system. You can then have CCleaner save it by moving it into the right hand column, or leave it in the left column and CCleaner will delete it the next time it runs.

    Options > Cookies.

  8. i quite liked avg also, but im happier using spybot,ad-aware,and spywareblaster

I agree that spywareblaster should be installed on every computer. I also like Adaware and Spybot S&D, but I think AVG 7.5 (ewido) has the edge over both of them. It finds things that most other apps. do not.
