  1. [JDownloader2 Logs*]

    : added FileKey5 and 6

    [JDownloader2 Temps*]

    : added FileKeys 7-9 and ExcludeKey3

    i think you should keep the changes to yourself only

    this is personal changes, not changes that would benefit anyone except yourself

  2. i don't have UserData folder in "Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\"

    but can confirm the bug on DOMStore cleaning through Cookies entry in IE

    it seem the folder duplicate on how many folder that have file in it

    for example folder A have 2 files, folder B have 1 file

    delete 3 file and start IE, 2 folder will be created and will be use

    the previous folder will be ignored

    i think it has to do with Cookies cleaning that doesn't delete the folder along with the file

    maybe need to add |Removeself to the cleaning rule :P

    i tried delete all folder except file index.dat and after that, 4 folder will be recreated based on name inside index.dat which has only 4 name

    open IE and only file inside these 4 folder will increase

    xp sp3 IE8

    the above is what i'm gonna reply when suddenly got internet problem and need to login back

    after testing @Andavari entries here, i prefer this entry to replace the current entry inside Cookies or make it separate entry

    different index.dat file result in 4 different folder name

  3. Last night I got it to run with the larger winapp2.ini and as it said, CCleaner is slow to open yes, but I saw all the listings in there, most all of which I don't want or need, but as mentioned I just want to do one DOMStore extra thing so last night from your first reply I had already taken what you typed:

    [DOMStore*]

    LangSecRef=3001

    Detect=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer

    Default=False

    FileKey1=%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\DOMStore|*.*|RECURSE

    ..and had pasted that into a text file and had renamed it to winapp2.ini and put it in the CCleaner folder and ran the trim.bat.  I saw the #TRIMMER folder appear, etc, but I am never able to get DOMStore to appear in my CCleaner like you show in your screenshot of  IE_DOMStore.png !

    can you try without trim.bat?

    just copy [DOMStore*] entry and put in an empty winapp2.ini file

    now you only have 1 entry in winapp2.ini so there no need to use trim.bat

    report back here if the entry appear or not in ccleaner

  4. where can I suggest improvements for ccleaner app

    because I have like over 70 saved cookie addresses in the ccleaner section

    Options>Cookies

    and ccleaner only let you transfer them 1 at a time form the

    "Cookies on Computer" into the "Cookies to keep section"

    it seek like someone would be smart enough to creat a sweep highlight all cookies or a Select All Cookies to easily transfer all cookies into the "Cooikies to keep" section

    instead of me having to spend 15 minutes ONE-ing each of my cookies over into that saved area

    you can "CTRL+click" or "CTRL+A" to select all

  5. Thank you Coffee4Joe. I actually didn't create any of them. I pulled them from Winapp2 and they were as is.

    i don't think so

    search for them in my winapp2.ini show all got their Default=False

    and about removing warning, i disagree on all of the entries except [Farming Simulator Old Autosaves*]

    but people might come here to ask whether the entries will delete the recent saved game so i prefer not to change it

    plus you only get the warning once

  6. [MS Search]
    ID=2266
    LangSecRef=3025
    DetectFile=%CommonAppData%\Microsoft\Search
    Default=True
    FileKey1=%CommonAppData%\Microsoft\Search|*.log|RECURSE

    i don't think MS Search remove indexing db

    MS Search More* which included in winapp2.ini does remove indexing db

    correct me if i'm wrong

  7. taken from here http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-windows_programs/what-does-pcaluaexe-do/5951f4b4-18f6-4b21-b925-ed5bb9032e9b

    pcalua.exe is the Program Compatibility Assistant.  "The Program Compatibility Assistant is an automatic feature of Windows that runs when it detects an older program has a compatibility problem."

    to be safe, just disable the last 5 item but i think it will be enable / recreate when you run the software..for example Mobistel installer

  8. Please allow another question: Using the Cleaner, is it safe to use al the default settings for it - even in system? Can I clean the windows log files  and temporary files without encountering problems with windows updates?

    it is safe unless under certain circumstances

    here what i do and suggest you to follow

    clean on the next start

    if you schedule ccleaner to run on startup or shutdown, disable until next start
