it is better if you run CCleaner manually and set it to shutdown when the cleaning complete
you can do that by go to Option > Advanced > select "Shutdown after cleaning"
or you can follow this http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?showtopic=16551

have you try ccleaer v4.13 before you apply the registry fix?
according to the latest changelog,
- Improved handling of removed and unmounted disks
-
to be sure that the driver already correctly installed, open Control Panel > Device Manager
if all still with yellow marking, that mean the driver doesn't install correctly or doesn't installed at all
Dell Support software might detect new driver version for those 37 drivers
i don't think ccleaner can delete any driver unless instructed to delete those file/folder
-
additional info needed
CCleaner version,OS,Chrome version,lastpass extension version
-
additional info for @qsdewa incase if you still can't find that option
you need to select Option > Updater > "Display updater windows when doing manual update"
then do manual update
-
Everything that is supposed to be checked in order for the recently used documents to show up are checked.
for CCleaner, you need to un-check entries that you want to keep
checking those entries will make ccleaner remove it
Under Windows Explorer, uncheck "Recent Documents" and "Taskbar Jump Lists"
-
it might due to windows update doing something in the background
when you do the next restart, its already finished
or prefetch folder being cleaned
-
can you turn off your antivirus real time protection and retry ccleaner?
just make sure you don't open any browser or connected to internet to avoid getting malware while unprotected
re-enable once done

what happen if disable the device( D:\ ) using device manager?
does the error still appear?i never got this kind of problem when using win 7
win xp, too many

prefer not to remove anything that being discontinued because there still people using it even without support/new version
or put those discontinued software entry into new file or simply list it on winapp2.com but i think people who use those software might come here and ask why winapp2.ini stop support for those software
just wanna ask 1 question
why winapp2 nvidia use LangSecRef=3023 and winapp use LangSecRef=3024?

this is not CleanMem support forum
you should go here http://forums.pcwintech.com/ to get direct support from CleanMem dev
btw, i got no problem running MiniMonitor in XP SP3/ 7 SP1
-
if i'm not mistaken, winapp.ini is hardcoded into ccleaner
new ccleaner = new winapp.ini
-
exclusion work just fine...tested with both Custom and AutomaticDestinations folder and file exclusion
just make sure the entry look like this C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\AutomaticDestinations\*.*
i don't think ccleaner by default detect Custom and AutomaticDestinations unless you're using winapp2.ini
just untick Recent Items More* then you no need to exclude the folder
-
got a lot of big *.dmp file which ccleaner won't detect
thnx for sharing this @Winapp2.ini
-
well, exclusion working fine for me
my taskbar Pinned list still intact
-
what i did was paste AutomaticDestinations path into the exclude explorer then i am able to access AutomaticDestinations folder
if using windows explorer, Recent is not visible, replace by Recent Item
using 7-zip explorer, its detect Recent

Cleaning out the NVIDIA directory also Cleans(removes/bad-uninstalls) some Nvidia Development programs(SDKs).
can you be more specific?
which path and folder?
-
what does ccleaner show for FF cache during analyze and clean?
does you set FF to clean its cache when close?
-
@SMalik
is there any reason why you split the entries?

AdBlock Plus for Chrome is broken, look at the user comments on its extension download page.
well, this is the first time i ever use Chrome more than a week
currently using company laptop to do daily work
mainly using FF and Ad-Muncher+Hosts on my own laptop
so is it "Adblock" better than "Adblock Plus" for Chrome?
afaik, most people thought ABP not working because they don't know the option to disable "Allow some non-intrusive advertising"
-
it seem [Chrome HTML5 Storage*] FileKey2=%LocalAppData%\Google\Chrome*\User Data\*\File System|*.*|REMOVESELF
remove adblock plus subscriptions and settings
i don't know if this is different with other people but i need to exclude two folder
C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\Profile 1\File System\Origins
C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\Profile 1\File System\000
windows XP SP3, chrome Version 33.0.1750.154 m
anyone else facing the same problem?

I know how to make a shortcut and find the target, but I have no idea where to type in the /SILENT or /VERY SILENT parameter that Hazelnut mentioned.
Hey Hazelnut, can you show me a pic of the parameter properly written in the....wherever it gets written in?
if you care to read and look closely, then you will find where you need to put the parameter
some hint
- first pic parameter = /30003
- 2nd pic /s

KIS, mbam, admuncher, malware domain(adblockplus)
i think mbam can replace cwshredder(last update 2005)
gmer can replace rootkitrevealer(last update 2006)
hijackthis - a dev already porting hijackthis vb6 source code v2.0.5 beta to c#
hope it will be a success to replace hijackthis and OTL(seem no longer developed)
