hi fans after i read all this "temp" things - i decide to include all "temp" subfolders i found on my system-partition C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\Admin\Lokale Einstellungen\Temp C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\All Users\Anwendungsdaten\TEMP C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\Default User\Lokale Einstellungen\Temp C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\User\Lokale Einstellungen\Temp C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\LocalService\Lokale Einstellungen\Temp C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\NetworkService\Lokale Einstellungen\Temp C:\Windows\Temp with option "delete all files and subfolders" and also i have include C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\All Users\Anwendungsdaten\Microsoft\Dr Watson\Drwtsn32.log C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\All Users\Anwendungsdaten\Microsoft\Dr Watson\user.dmp and C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\All Users\Anwendungsdaten\Avira\AntiVir Desktop\LOGFILES\*.log is this enough with manuall including temp-files and subfolders? i hope, because the "temp" folders go me slowly out - is it right in english? (ich hoffe, weil mir die "temp" ordner langsam ausgehen - in german) i believe, google dont really good translated this sentence. there are some folders from my post, that are already integrated into ccleaner search? i mean-can i delete some of my including paths?

mmmmh, when i create a file without an fileextension, than rightklick with mouse and kontextmenu "openwith.." there is no "open with..." but all other is ok by me. but I had a similar experience with an earlier version of ccleaner. as i installed an older version of acdsee, than run ccleaner and it found many of "unused fileextensions". after cleaning was my acdsee complete out of my xp and i must reinstall a few times, until i decide to disable the "unused fileextensions" but in newer version is not that happened...

i have now uninstalled the version ms security ess. 4.1.0522 than cleaned and restarted my pc...installed the new version .... 4.2.223.1 and updated older big 68 MB signature how used in 4.1.0522 and one day later i installed the newest big signature-file - perhaps there are also such " mpcache*.bin " on such degree of dimension... but luckily there are no such "mpcache-....bin*" files with summary 100 and more MB. i think, this blue selected files as in pic 1 can be deleted. i believe this were intended only temporary files only if anyone finds such files too.

hi nergal now i understand, what you mean with your comment... thats not the thing, ff is not causing slowdown at 98 %, ff is ready with search and later ready with cleaning, but the progessbar is still at 98%... but only in window-mode, with or without firefox

now i have the definition-file - thanks to friend to download that means, at the last (older) version of mse windows update say to me to download 2 definiton files with each roundabout 72 mb... with the new mse-version microsoft update would like to have just one definiton file with 72 mb i found it nice from microsoft http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?showtopic=38293 someone foreboding of it?

now i understand, what you mean its also by me... but the phenomenon with 98 % status bar is another thing. ff is ready with cleaning but in window-mode the progress-bar-number dont going at 100 %. although ff is ready with his job.

not especially compact databases, but 3 points, such as cookies, sessions and download history or 3 other points are disabled.... The compact database is probably not the big problem...
