i know, xp is no longer supported operating system of ms ...etc.
speccy detects only xp pro sp3
I do not know how the identification works, but certainly could be for detecting the following directory
1.) "c:\programme\windows plus"
and/or
2.) --> rightklick desktop -->
in "properties of display" --> "representation"? --> "window and button"? --> "Media Center-Style"?
German: "Eigenschaften der Anzeige" --> Schaltfläche "Fenster und Schaltflächen" --> "Media Center-Stil"
with this two things could be detecting this spezial version of xp pro..., mh?

I consider to reinstall XP on one of my machines. May I ask is fresh XP install pulling updates from Windows Update or the Microsoft service has been already abandoned?
not complete, i have only "really" updates for xp installed and 2-3 security things...+ netframework2 sp2. (ff and office and other software are installed on other partition...
i will not often to go with this xp in the internet. therefore I do not need all security updates ;-)

does anyone know what the difference between xp pro or home and xp media center edition is?
some people think that the xp media center edition is a home version, others that it is a pro version with multimedia extension...what kind of xp is it? does anyone know more information?

If the key from your machine won't activate and you ring support they will give you another one if yours is a genuine key.
... this created key from own xp before calling strange german windows-uschi :-) ... can i read out this from windows?
I've read that one can in order to avoid these recurrent reactivation... I forgot to write down these key from "A to G" for possible later reinstallation ;-) with the same hardware...
Does the telephone number still work? Just wonderingthe telephone nr works fine, i have xp reactivated... but see above ^

I thought that something has been lost or "transferred" to other partitions or so...I've even had luck again 
ps: A few years ago i once had xp installed on an old 2 gb hard drive and comical were it, only 1 gb occupied after installation and it run still "normal"

speccy 1.27 is crashed after os-identification of my xp sp3 --> with complete systemfreeze/crash, before cpu-identification was
after this, xp will scan the harddisk --> "cpu186" or similar approx. 30 mb file size was created in my personal profil-temp and "tmp.ebd" approx. 1 mb file size at windows->system32->catroot2-> ... and there hung the xp system multiple times when corrected for.
only with skip and manual delete "tmp.ebd" run xp again normal and harddisk-scan too.

can anyone tell me how to read the generated key of windows XP before you can enable it via phone support?

I have reinstalled xp at weekend and seen that after deactivation of the hyperfile.sys file and shift the pagefile and the installation of NETFramework 2, Windows XP is only about 1.9 GB in size ... was that really so "small"?
i have also installed ms office, but on other partition.
Also xp starts very quickly -

i have tried this analysis function too, for me everything worked with all available options incl. flash drive on my w8.1 64bitI probably had luck againperhaps i try it out on xp, vista and 7...

What are you running when these dumps are made?
What AV?
I don't think \LiveKernelReports is a normal Windows dumping ground for errors.
Chances may be that some other program is creating these dumps; a game, video driver.....
I dont know what was running at the time of the creation of these files ...
my AV is AVG2015
possible as it is actually the Nvidia driver, although it since I had the file deleted from recently, there has been no further such files. (the nvidia driver had crashed a few times in the past...but not in recent times) but some of these files were created without nvidia crash.
does really create nvidia after a crash his "log- or dump-file" in this directory in this size?
it could not be windows itself? I had the dmp creation turned off at the system control, because I can not do with the report files as a normal user ... now i have it reactivated.

yes. no one of piriform tools can detect "Windows XP3 MCE 2005 Rollup 2" or another version of MCE
i have perhaps helpful info for detecting...
first:
