hi lucky,
in the normal case, you can omit the special Acer software.
the standard settings are safe, I think.
I personally dont take the registry cleaner.
ps: ultimately it comes down to your own wish...what you want to clean/delete.

with install the new nvidia driver you can mark the choose box "new installation and delete nvidia remains"
after a few installations on my windows a have no driver-remains in this folder...
- ofcourse, with this install-option go all personal settings lost.

i have download the asus-driver, but with this are equally driver crashes happened...
it seems to be normal older driver of nvidia for 720m.
windows update has not proposed updates

hi fans,
i have a laptop with geforce 720m.
occasional crashes the graphic card drivers and restarted.
i have driver version 326 as recommended by asus download site. before I had the version 344-there was the same problem. now i will install the new version 347 and want to see if further those crashs happened.
perhaps this was the same problem as with the "round 800 MB sized *.tmp"... I cant find the contribution
as in the description "unsupported Hyprid saving mode" is disabled on my energie-settings.
does anyone know what could something be?

with my installed av i cant open defender... i dont know, how i could open this. but in my reminder without av, there are no adjust options to deactivate the av-function in ms defender and use only against malicious progs

But in Mac Cleaner in Applications it only cleans Google Earth.
in windows ccleaner gives only "google earth" but not "google earth pro"
--> where is the difference? (i have also installed pro since hazelnuts post "now its for free" or so)
are there the same ability to clean? -in normal and pro-version?

Started download of CCleaner 5.03. It stopped very early in the process. It will not complete, nor can the download file be removed because it is still in use. It has hung. How can I close or remove it?
i have this too -by me for times with analog-speed (max 5 kb/min) has break the download before its done.

Thanks - Previously I did the NO PAGEFILE thing, re-booted, there was none. Then reset it to System Managed, which today is 6582MB. Hiberfil was set off then a defrag and then set on.
this pagefile is ok.

OK - Indexing is on, but who is to say one does not need it? Is it just a matter of waiting time if indexing is off?
nobody, I personally have never used the indexing, but if you deactivate the indexing, the normal "search" still works :-) you can save harddiskspace and relieve your cpu
perhaps it is not so important...
