ha i got it i went to the extensions site tried to install it again and it opened up the extensions folder for me so i could unistall it

i cant do nething with it. i can update it but that does nothing none of the other buttons do anything. even if i do a total uninstall it still shows this error

i just update the extension launchy and this happened when i reloaded it. i tried reinstalling it but im still getting it

well u could format it put it in ur new computer and use a program called eraser to secure delete the info on it if your that concerned. http://www.heidi.ie/eraser/download.php

ok i have windows me. and when i run the 2000 disk i get a few errors. and i realise the reason for this is probably because my copy of me is a copy. so i need to know how to reformat my computer and install windows 2000

i tried it but i get an error every time i try to install. it says error 1301. the current directory already exits installation will not continue this happens whatever i chose. i also found a specifed thing to update mfc42.dll. i think the technical term is the computer is buggared

ok i tried using the symatec one and neither of their suggestions worked i tried using the extractor and the boot disk

i also tried sfc.exe and it could not be found

im on win me. i tried that run command and got this error "loadlibrary("C:\windows\system\mfc42.dll"0) failed GetLastError returns 0x00000002 i am stumped

evidently i was right from my previous topic there is an underlying problem to do with this mfc42.dll. today i tried using trend micro house call thingy. it went through downloading a few things then told me it needed the microsoft mfc dll on the comp. i let it do this as i thought it may fix the problem. this was the error message i got on startup. this one is soon after loading the bios windows could not upgrade the file %1 from %2 %1 : %2. one or more the system files could not be updated windows may not start properly. then when i reached my desktop i receieved this error. an error occured loading C:/windows/system/mfc42.dll the file may not have been installed or it has been corrupted i have got absolutely no idea what to do so any help would be appreciated

well it would be better if it was bigger then it could be used as a wallpaper. as at the moment u have to zoom in loads which may blur it

i tried that program and it did sweet fa as far as i can tell. i told it to delete the folder. it can up with a command window saying deleted and then nothing. either it deleted it and it was recreated straight away or it just didnt quoting his website If neither of the delete operations succeed, you have a more involved problem than described above
