  1. I recently got an email from Backupify, an online service that I use to backup some of my online services such as Gmail, about a very cool offer. Basically, I can invite 5 people with their email addresses to sign up for an account with Backupify. If all 5 people accept their invitation from me and sign up, my Backupify account gets upgraded for free to their highest service level which would cost me about $60 if I bought it. There is also a bonus for the people I send an invitation to as well. When they sign up with my invitation, their Backupify account gets upgraded to premium for free, worth $40.

I have 5 invitations to give away, so if you're interested, send me your email in a PM and I will send you the invitation, which, if you sign up for, your account will be upgraded to premium for free.

    It's definitely a pretty cool service. :)

I'm sorry, but this giveaway is first come, first served. I will notify everyone when I have given away all of my invitations.

  2. Don't use this program. It's completely destroyed many computers because upon uninstallation, it corrupted the MBR, resulting in the computer being unbootable. Comodo should have this program as alpha or beta at the least.

  3. www.kongregate.com

Great site. It's clean, it's got great games, it's an active community, and it's got this badge system where you can get badges for achieving certain things in different games. You should definitely try it out.

  4. I've also gotten tired of Chrome/Chromium's resource hogging. Even though it's user interface makes it look sleek and fast, it's actually quite bloated. On my computer, Chromium took up over 300 megs of disk space, while FF & Opera took under 50. I am not going back to Chromium soon.

  5. I use Minefield as my main web browser everyday, and as you guys all probably know, it's the nightly build of Firefox. For those of you who are not using it, I just thought I might show you what's new from the stable versions of Firefox:

I'll update this topic if more changes occur with Minefield.
